Is there such a thing...?

Basically a OOG program/site that can track a players Time Zone? or more frequent hours of operation?
perhaps due to forum posting times, kills/losses tracking and/or market orders, although this may require the API for the latter.

I have a target that is evading me, he appears online sporadically and i cannot find any trend in TZs and every time i track him to where he is, he can stay offline for days/weeks and move 30+ systems while i am offline. he is an active player, not a station ALT but may be just jumping with clones.

I have used an ALT to watch his online times in case he is watching me too with an ALT (tinfoil hat time) but to no avail.

I know its a long shot asking, and i seriously doubt i would have overlooked such a thing but if there is could someone link me it?

if it doesn't exist, it would be a handy tool, no?

Dont mind me,  just touching your stuff.

Unemployed neckbeard social misfits have no rigid TZ or structured hours of operation - thus New Eden can be be their playground while not in slumber irrespective of whether the sun rises or the moon falls.

Not certain about a programme that caters for your requirements.

You could always pay for somebody to play peeping tom while you hit the pillow.

I didn't think one existed. never hurts to ask though.

i'd rather not pay for someone to keep an eye on him unless they could wake my ass up so i could go get him myself. i have a decent amount of personal satisfaction based on this guys death, so i'd rather be the one to get him.

it might just be unlucky timing on my part, i have a few others in differing TZs looking out for me, telling me if he comes online during my absence, then i locate and relocate to him, but since hunting this guy, he seems to have switched out his usual times in favour of madness.

All i can do is just keep tracking and hope for the best, make it more sweeter when i catch him.
thanks for the reply.

Or you know, you could analyze the readily available data.

We are required by our constitution to let the voters think they have a choice. That's democracy!

Keep collecting data. Spreadsheet time. A pattern will emerge.

His Bio about him being a furry who thinks of himself as a "6ft tibetan grey wolf with blue fur" irritated me.
Also, i passive scanned his regular ship and seen some items of interest.

He might be Australian. They mostly come out at night mostly and live in a terrible timezone for Eve.
But yeah the greater the neckbeard the more sporadic the hours.

as to OP's original question, it is possible to do. You might have to do a bit of data scraping if the API won't give you status updates on your contact watch list.

I've never looked into whether or not there is API support for this but if there isn't, the man hours to complete this project will go up.

If you are serious about getting this done, send me an eve mail and we can talk more on this.

Totally serious here, I think you would have to dig too much data unless u knew a general area to focus on. I mean from blind 0 the data would be huge, has to be narrowed.... a lot?
