Star Wars advice needed

So found out today that two people that work for me have never seen the original Star Wars (and I mean the 'original' Star Wars).

Naturally I gave them both a cardboard box to pack their things in and asked them to update their CVs but it appears that this is not a legitimate grounds for sacking someone in my country.

What else should I do?

Be constructive.
Let them both do the lowest jobs available, like cleaning the toilets and floors and working overtime every day.
Then hire a trainee and immediately give him good, responsible work to do with extra salary.
When the two guys come and complain about it, tell them that the trainee at least has watched Star Wars and thus will always get a better job because of his much better qualifications.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

And they are probably foreign or from a very backwater rural area, so dont criticize them, ENLIGHTEN them.

Get some DVDs and do a Star Wars film festival in the break room! 1/2 per day over the next few months. If you put some snacks out too, they will come.

i've never really seen it either. well at least not since i was little. don't remember very much about it. most of what i know about star wars i learned from "family guy" tbh.

Somehow , when I look at Eurydia , I can´t seem to grasp her/him/it as Crab People ... since she/he/it hasn´t seen the movies yet ... hmmm , a Mystery to unravel perhaps?

i didn't say i never saw them. just that i was really young and don't really remember much about them. i think i remember the last one best. jabba the hut. little fuzzy bears. i'm a she for the record. and i'm most definitely not a crab people/person.

We are getting old. My GF is 15 years younger than me (she's 26). A week or so ago the move Purple Rain was on. I was a big Prince fan back in those days, and I said, "this is a great movie!"

Don't do anything. Just wait to see what J.J. Abrams does to Star Wars. It will be a hit, and bring a whole new generation to War Stars. Sure, it will cut off previous fans off at the knees. They have milked them for about all they are worth. Disney wants fresh young fans to milk. Abrams will deliver.
