Do you have a nemesis? (Not the ship, the arch enemy)

I have graduated into the pirate elite and now have a nemesis!

I ran into an Executioner and its Pod earlier today. You can view the very brief engagement here: http://youtu.be/rKNFUjOn-9Y. Nothing particularly exciting but a few minutes later I received this email:

I have made it my goal.
From: MerlinFalcon
Sent: 2013.05.15 01:50
To: Zappity

My new goal is to destroy your ship. Just warning you so that you can laugh harder next time you destroy mine.

Falcon

Marvellous! Of course I want to encourage this sort of thing so I replied with information about where I can usually be found. Good form Mr MerlinFalcon, sir! I look forward to it.

So, do you have a nemesis? An EVE Online stalker who hunts you down like a dog?

I have only one who has promised to follow through and seems intent to do so. He reads the forums and knows who he is.

All the others were just talk and then faded into the wind.

Oddly enough I don't have a Nemesis.

I am just here to have fun.

Don't know if people consider me to be their Nemesis, I would rather they like me.

My Nemesis is Alan Fremantle and has been since the second year of school but as he is now old, fat and bald and I am just old and fat I consider myself to be winning.

I am surprised you haven't picked a few up after your war dec history. But I absolutely agree with your sentiment.

I'm usually friendly, especially if I kill someone. I enjoy the rush of a good fight (and winning to be honest) but I don't enjoy griefing.

When I turned pie and never looked back I awox'd a corpmates Raven and whilst waiting out the 24 hour role timer half the corp kept telling me they were going to make my Eve life a living hell and ruin any chance of fun I had in this game. One chap (whose name was 'president' something with a bunch of numbers after) informed me (in between telling me what my sexual orientation was and the various sexual acts I performed with men/animals/family members) that he was going to spend his personal 30 billion ISK fortune on having me hunted down and repeatedly podded.

To this day I still await such vengeance, eagerly.

That's the closest to a nemesis I've ever had.

The times i pirated my 'victims' usually turned friendly verry fast.A nice chat and not being a totall **** can make people become a LOT less mad/sad about their loss.

It all depends on what type of Nemesis you have. If you have one who wants to hunt you and then sit down and have a drink with you after the fight, that is the good kind. It is an in game nemesis who in totally respects you and would call you friend.

I agree with you in that I would rather have it be a friendly nemesis than an angry one.

Who is my nemesis?

I can't think of a single player who is.

Collectively, all of the scammers who do not really double isk as they say could be called my nemesis since I actually pay out. The scammers give the isk doubling business a bad name.

For my clients, their nemesis is actually themselves if they cannot understand my simple rules. Intellect and reason could also be called their nemesis.

If you have a nemesis, you could really do some damage to him or her if you multiplied your isk with me.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

I had a nemesis, he stopped responding to my e-mails though. It was back when I was still new to EVE and finding ways to make ISK. Ninja salvaging was fun and the few million I could make stealing more expensive loot was always exhilarating :D

Most people just ignored me, but this particular fellow got really pissed.

Each week
From: Vordek Rei
To: Ristlin Wakefield

Each week the ransom will increase with 250 mil. Or untill your corporation stops to exsist.

Todays noob lesson is called
Only **** the with the right kind of people,
avoid the wrong kind.

I was invited to go to XXXX city at XXXX time of XXXX day for a punch-up by some complete lunatic. I think all I had done to earn this was take exception to some homophobic or racist comment he had made.

24 hours later the character that threatened me was biomassed. I think he realised what a fool he was.

There's a player called Xenuria whom also has an extremely unhealthy obsession with me, although by all accounts I do not think I am unique in having his attention. I have had to ban him from several in-game chat rooms and he was kicked from alliance for stalker like behaviour. I also invited him to come mining with me and suicide ganked his Hulk.

This game is so weird that even outside of pew pew, you can find yourself with .... issues to deal with.

I'm sure that improved his attitude! Did he know it was you or did you use an alt?

Funny you say Xenuria... he recently played one of my group events. I don't think it ended well though for him.
