Greetings,

It has been some time since anything momentous has happened involving Arek’Jaalan. With the departure of Hilen Tukoss two years ago, a once thriving community bent on new discoveries almost came to a halt. We say this with great remorse, but our light has been extinguished and all our collective effort has been collecting dust… long forgotten.

Amidst silence comes two notable capsuleers who are willing to bring light to our achievements once again. Two of our most distinguished researchers, Faulx and Mark726 took up their penmanship to produce a literary work that not only captures the very essence of what Arek’Jaalan represents, but also wrote in such a compelling, novelistic, and enormously thorough account that it will surely leave readers with sweaty palms.

With the hosting of “EVE True Stories,” this is our chance to show and commemorate what we have achieved so far. This is our last chance to tell the world that we still exist.

This is our last chance to leave Arek’Jaalan’s footprints in the sand of time.

Please enjoy the work and take your time to VOTE so that it could be forever immortalized in the True Story of the First Decade of EVE.

Having only recently attained my pilot license and given the freedom to pursue my curiosity about the sleepers and their technology that provided my first implant. I've yet to work through even half of the research and work done by your organization. It is very clearly the remains of a monumental effort in human understanding and I will show any support I am able.

A traitor's errand.

I am glad to see it has died without producing any fruit. I'm not particularly surprised though.

The Arek'Jaalan project has been essential and incredibly insightful for the exploration and archaeological work I do, and even before I gained my capsule license I took great interest in it while in flight school. I thoroughly enjoy what the project did and the spirit with which it acquired and expanded our collective knowledge.

Thank you, researchers of Arek'Jaalan. You will never be forgotten.

I am also a human, straggling between the present world... and our future. I am a regulator, a coordinator, one who is meant to guide the way.

Hopefully there will be a time when we will "shine" once again.

We disagree. Our collective effort has produced at least a dozen of researches with long lasting implications. Furthermore, the erection of the Site One in Eram system is the very testament to what we can achieve once we put aside ourselves from petty galactic conflicts and work together to seek the unknown.

We have two days left. Please help immortalize Arek'Jaalan! Please take two minutes of your time to vote!

Pilots are still using this as a basis for stroking their egos?

Maybe, but there are also new pilots who find it fascinating and consider any collection of insight into the unknowns of our little corner of the universe to be very valuable.

I am resolved to make a visit to Eram in the near future as a sort of scholarly pilgrimage, maybe on the last day of voting for "True Stories". Anyone feel free to mail me if you are interested in making a meetup out of it.
