Rorqual Compression + Disconnect

I was wondering:

What happens to the Ore you are compressing if you disconnect with active compression jobs in a Rorqual?

Edited for more clarity.

Since you have to siege it my guess is it would act like other ships that are locked in place and remain in game till the cycle is done. Perhaps you could try on the test server to be sure.

Yes, I was very sure this was the case. What I meant was what happens to the Ore you are compressing?

Sorry, wasn't specific in the original post.

The job can be delivered the next time the core is activated.

When you log out while compressing ore/ice it will continue the compression cycle until the siege cycle is done, then you disappear (not sure if it waits an additional minute or if it's instant, haven't timed it). However, when you sign back on, the jobs you had been running will be red and say "Offline" and have some time limit left on them. Once you start the siege cycle again if won't make any visible progress on the installed jobs for multiple minutes (sometimes as long as a full siege cycle), and then it will resume an accurate countdown.

Over a year ago they fixed the bug where you could sign out and it would complete any installed jobs while you were offline, regardless of how long they had left, and regardless of whether or not your ship was there. This used to be used to compress ice without consuming heavy water.

There is one exception to this, where if you are compressing something and downtime hits, it will boot you from the server, but your jobs will still continue to process throughout the duration of DT. This means if you want to compress something without consuming heavy water, you can queue up 4 jobs right before DT, and stay online until it hits. They will finish while you're offline without consuming fuel.

Using this method of storing finished jobs in your rorqual's industrial lines you used to be able to transport extra ice/ore when transporting it out to lowsec and then deliver the jobs while sitting in station. It should be noted that if you stop your industrial core even completed jobs will change state to "Offline" which will prevent you from being able to deliver them until you enter a siege state again. The current exception to this rule is also the jobs that are running when DT hits. Once you load back up they will show as "Ready" instead of "Offline". However these jobs can only be delivered while the ship is in open space, not while docked. You do not need to be in siege mode to deliver the DT jobs though.

Where can I find out why CCP hasnt made it possible to compress ore from the Rorqual's huge ore hold?

Question regarding the compress method:

I've the ICE/ORE in cargo/ore bay. The BPO are in cargo bay too.
When I deploy it in Industrial mode, I choose the bpo, right click Manufacturing, Location My ship, and I cannot see the rorqual production lines. I don't have any role from corp.

Any idea?

Thanks

I keep all the compression BPO in the hangar, and use a filter to only show the ones I'm currently using.

Assuming your Installations filters are set correctly, there is a bug where sometimes the lines don't appear. There are few things you can do to fix it:

1. Leave the Rorqual and re-board it.
2. Petition for GM assistance.
3. Re-package the Rorqual, losing the rigs.
