If I gave you my full api key could you establish(without doing a rigorous and exhaustive audit) that :-

1/ I have the skills trained that I say I have

2/ Trading and profitability commensurate with my published claims is actually taking place

3/ I LIKE IT is not my alt(at least not on the account to which
my api pertains).

If you could do this how much would it cost me?

I like VV.

Most of the times I don't even understand 50% of the her posts, but I can see she is passionate and knows the business.

I wish best of luck in this endeavor !

Yes I can.

I am not sure that a so called "quick check" would convice everybody though. Expecially the "one account API" thing.

The third point parenthesis text is also a bit of an unlucky writing. More suspicious readers will read it as: "I have been smart and have hidden my alt very well so you won't see I play it". I fear you just forced yourself into a full audit.

Hello,

I appreciate support and indeed I am passionate.

Since I started my economy related EvE and RL career thanks to reading this MD forum, I owe the players it.

I also wish to function myself as stimulus to new MD arrived readers to get interested themselves in this fascinating field, as such I'd like to know what is the half you don't undestand, so I may eventually restate it in a clearer way.

Hey,

Don't worry too much. I don't understand most of the economic terms used as I didn't had any contact with Economic theory until now. I'm learning slowly.. so don't mind me. What I can confirm is that you are really serious even though this is a game.
I'm following your actions for the last months now as I can learn many things.

Best regards

I am slowly working to prepare an EvE trading and economy resources index, when I'll have completed it I'll post it so you can have a sort of updated and organic access to many useful threads and documents that have been produced over the years. P

Starting June 1st, I will further expand the ISK pool (because you guys really LOVE to ask for loans! Shocked) and will apply a special offer:

5B+ loans for 1 month will get a special rebate!

Instead of asking for 5% I will ask for just 3.5%!

Such offer will not last a lot as it's experimental and I want to learn the practical implications before getting too hurt.

I assume the collateral is based on the estimated price given in-game?

I currently have my alt in nullsec, with most of his ships still in highsec. Because I dont need them now anyway, I'm basically interested in providing them as collateral for a bond for my main (this char right here). The problem however about rigged/fitted and/or equipped T3 cruisers is that the est. price does not reflect the total worth.

I.e. a rigged Proteus with subsystems is about 0.8 B while it will only show 230M for the main hull though. Will you take this into account?

I'm asking this because I could understand if you would not take it into account. In the end, it would be more work for you to sell such a configuration via contract than just throwing it on the market.

Thanks and very bests

VD

PS: Bara, good one. ;)

I know I am going to be verbose once again but I want to be as detailed and "predictably consistent" as possible.
Therefore in line of principle I follow this Contract of Collateral Holding I posted long ago.

In particular, ARTICLE IV – GENERAL COLLATERAL EVALUATION CRITERIA paragraph 2 states:

"In case of ships, rigs value is always considered equal to zero."

This comes from years of having held missioning ships as collateral: they can't be dumped on a market and the new owner is almost never going to keep the existing rigs configuration, so it's like they are worth zero.

What about T2 rigs on a high-end ship a la Loki / Damnation?

Anyway, glad to see this thread reopened. I'll probably be taking out half to a couple billion for a month to pull me through the inevitable fuel price tomfoolery and keep my tower + slots churning out goods and BPCs.

It depends on what rigs.
Most of the time they are valued zero, because in case of default the collateral might be repackaged and dumped or simply because the rigs won't be kept by a new owner anyway. Take it from a RL example: you don't lay down a new flooring right before selling an house, the new owner is going to ignore it, not pay for it, rip it off anyway and put one of his liking.

Only rare exceptions would be a partial evaluation of the rigs because they are really the most standard combination for a certain ship. Don't count on that though, it's really rare.

Another 15B about to go.

I am talking with liquidity providers for additional ISK reserves, as my "idle in the wallet" ISK are now reduced to few billions.
