Eterne: As your first chronicle, you've done exceedingly well.

The separate versions of the chron (those who didn't notice btw, THERE ARE TWO, go back and look) could have easily taken a turn for gimmickry, but it's played well.

I've been following the Heirs (and have met a couple) since the game went live, and I feel like the characters represented here are those people, fitting the personalities I expect, with just enough departure from that mold to remind me that I'm only a distant observer. This, to me, is highly preferable to the approach of another EVE writer whose work takes up a permanent spot on my desk.

The Amarr Faction was set up all along to have certain unique nuances of narrative available to it. Each of the Empires do. I cannot wait to see such a long-prepared scenario move into motion.

I would only ask that you find some way for long-suffering loyalists to be involved in some way, a real way.

Good Chron. They've all been winners lately. The New Fiction Team's track record is proving better than many expectations.

An excellent chronicle! Well done, Eterne. I really enjoyed reading the chronicle, then finding out there is a way to hear the voice as well, and it gave me a different perspective on the setting, very sneaky of you, you magnificent bastard! I suggest everyone to read the both versions, though it goes better if you read the voiceless version (the primary one) first.

Also, as far as any RP goes, I've denounced the empire and shot my way off to nullsec, capsuleer politics are always so much more interesting anyway, so jamyl can burn for all I care.

Am I the only one thinking that Heth and Jamyl have both had the DUST clone procedure done to them which is why they are mad, the voice also hints at the one part that he could "choose" to let Jamyl die (if you read the second version) if she screamed so loud her lungs filled with blood.

I suspect, based off this story, that after the initial Templar program was a success, and immortal warriors created someone suggested that Jamyl go through with the procedure to prevent any assassination attempts from being successful. Then after the process was complete they discovered the defect, so the problem is now that to wipe out all the original DUST clones they'd need to eradicate the Emperess (and Heth).

Jamyl has had her issues since long before the Templar program. It arose during her cloning after the Shathol'syn years ago. The details are described in TEA (though it was done pretty poorly there. Eterne's take of the madness is far better).

I have friends who don't play but they also follow the story. They'll like this one (those who dog-eared my copy of Templar One).

Gonzales's writing was extremely good, the first book in particular was very well written. The battles described, great in detail.

King Khanid was an heir before he broke away from the Empire. So technically he could still lay a claim to the throne. It would most likely cause a civil war. That would be fun to participate in that story arc. Choose the heirs or King Khanid and change the shape of the Empire.

However if that happened events to some similar degree would have to take place in the other empires for symmetry.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Federation in flames. That would give me a fair bit of joy.
