Active Research Alliances?

Does anyone know if New Eden Research or similar research alliances are still active/in existance?
I've started a small corp geared towards research but can't seem to find a place to do ME at all. Applied for NER membership but no reply for few days, and bringing up a corp pos atm is not an option.
I know that there are good research corps that will do the research themselves for a fee and return the researched BPO, but would prefer to have the ability to research myself....

An alliance POS would be of limited value to you - you would actually need to have a corp POS if you are really into research and invention.

We are still active, but RL concerns have me answering mail rather sporadically of late. Check your mail for my reply.
