Lights, poking my eye out

Everywhere in Eve we got lights poking our eyes out

In space you got the sun drilling a laser into your cornea.

In hangar you got the damn spotlights everywhere.

Isn't there anywhere in Eve with comfortable lighting?

PS - For those who actually like the lighting, maybe make it a switch in the graphic options "ambient lighting" or some such that tones down the sun and hangar lights.

Seriously good point on the lighting though. I think that as long as it looks realistic and we can filter it in our overview then I'm happy.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

The piercing lights, and ambient glow ...

What about some dark spots? Like, real dark space and such.

More cold, dark universe would be nice, somewhere. Even in w-space it's all rainbows and nebula's.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

All I want is a slider in the esc menu that can adjust the sun intensity.

That is all.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

The lighting model will be updated once the V3 project is done. Once the new model is implemented, I'm sure that a lot of the unnecessary intensity with some objects will be reduced.
