CCP would you please explain to me as to why I am Being billed in Euro in the EvE-Store? I'm from Norway and we are not a member of the EU! somthing I happen to be very happy about for several reasons, most of them not being relevant to this discussion.

so CCP please answer me this:

-Why am I being forced to trade in this currency?
-Are the people of Iceland being treated in the same manner?
-What are your reason for doing this?
-Last but not least are you planning on doing this to plex and gametime? If you are, I am telling you right now I will certainly cancel two of my three active accounts that I have been paying for on a month to month fee for 3 years.

also for those not getting this, I loose money trading in euros instead of dollars, but since we are not a EU country I see no reason why I should not be able to choose what currency I want to trade in!

I do not know if any other non EU country is forced in the same manner, if you are, feel free to post in this tread.

I could help you pay your sub from the American continent if we reach an agreement that is beneficial to both of us, but I don´t know if CCP has any policy against it, thus I make it public for everyone to see

…but of the EEA and EFTA, which rather makes the Euro the default currency for transactions with companies operating in the region. Internal market — it's a wonderful thing. Blink

You really should contact the people at the store.

No one of the players in this forum can answer your question.

Are the charges on credit card in europe so high that it makes a difference? I buy stuff in USD all the time online while having only CAD accounts and I have yet to see any difference...

My 300 year old Native American friend refuses to use the Eve store as well because they do not accept seashells and river polished rocks as payment.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

If it was not the case, buying a plex in CAD would cost more or less depending on wich currency is higher. You pay the exact same value unless your bank is screwing you over with extra fees. If not, i'd be buying plex for 20 zimbabwe dollars...

Is this even a problem?

Do you have huge bank fees on paying for things in different currencies or something?

Might be time to try a different bank if you are.

one dollar costs about 6.5 norwegian kroner
one euro costs about 8.5 norwegian kroner

thats about 20-25% difference in price for me, so basically its just that I wanna buy in the currency that is lowest compared to my currency.

also thank you america for dumping the value of your dollar, 10 years ago 1$ cost 9.5 NOK also I hope your currency takes yet another dive so I can buy cheap **** from the internettz \o/

One euro is 7.5 NOK at DNB. And really, a month is what, 15 euro? That a Big Mac menu. The difference in price wont get you a coffee at a 7-11.
