The nutshell

Lolwut: "Yes, you kids don't know how lucky you have it. These days noobs get given free tackle ships for PvP but back in the old days the only tackle ships we were given were our pods. We had to use them to bump their rookie ships out of alignment to stop them warping off."

I'm not going to click the link. I hate these "mystery" links that people put up. Tell me clearly and concisely what the link is and what is there.

OP is correct, sadly. 0.0 is full of angsty carebears frantically clinging to their isk fountains, while barking really loud about how awesome PVPers they are.

The OP subscribes to the “blue doghnut“ myth, and illustrates this with the “I'm blue” music video.

After the events of the last 8 weeks anyone still harping on the giant blue doughnut is just confirming the whole theory as blatant anti-nullsectism.

But blue donoughts are blueberry and thus excellent!
If null wasn't all blue then why do they complain and want more hisec for their empire?

And why is the subscribed update not fixed yet?

Last night while Goons were attacking Querious reinforcing towers anchored at valuable moons and I was dodging TEST roaming gans because TEST is now neutral to me, I was standing on the balcony of my apartment looking at my lap top and screaming "BUT , BUT, BLUE DONUT DAMNIT!!!" Lol The neighbors thought I was talking about stale baked goods.

It's nothing new, When the old NC controlled the north people were the same way , saying "null is all blue and other is happening there". It's total BS, null is in a constant state of flux....I know, I've been "Fluxed" out of every region I've lived in lol.

Highsec was probably designed as a place where new players could develop and understanding of Eve and get themselves sorted before venturing off into the uncharted and hostile wilderness.

New players still start there.

Also players who are conflict averse and just want to fabricate and farm live there.

The problem is that the new players are forced to be exposed to the conflict averse players before they meet those who enjoy the PvP aspect of Eve. The Bears get first dibs on the new recruits.

I lost years of game play trying to get out of highsec because of misinformation and people who hate the other side of the game.

I think that bears are just as aggressive and dangerous to new players as PvP players are, and that new players should be protected from them in the same way that they are protected from nullsec.

I'm in need of a guy, I'm in need of a guy
I'm in need of a guy, I'm in need of a guy
I'm in need of a guy, I'm in need of a guy.
