I have a quick question about engagements at holes

Well here was the situation we got ourselves in tonight...Big smile

We found a corp in a c5 with c1 static, they had a hs hole in their system as well, we used "their" system to travel to hs and they decided to put a bubble on hs hole, we had 1 man left in hs and they didn't want to let him pass and get back, so they anchored a vindi, megathron and gallente logi repper, proteus and some bombers, we gathered what little people we had and decided to come and protect our member, after we jumped to their bubble immediately after they saw they were losing they jumped into hs deciding to stay there for well over 30 mins and still counting... That was the story now comes the question...

After the recent changes to Eve flagging and aggression changes was it possible for us to continue trough the hole and continue the fight on the other side in hs without concord coming and raping us instead of us finishing our ****? Big smile

Thank you in advance for the response

Best Regards

Capt

Edit well this is weird, I was allowed to spell raping and when I wrote r.a.p.e that got dotted... Big smileBig smile

No.

WH space is lawless like 0.0. As such the only flags you will ever get are the PVP flag (15min logoff timer) and weapons flag (60 sec cooldown).

The flags necessary to follow them into highsec would be the suspect or ciminal flag.

Welcome to one of the many **** things about pvp in wormholes, unless you can bump **** off the wormhole there is no point in even trying to fight on a hs hole

The only hope generally is that they don't realize and jump right back in, getting a nice double tap.

HS holes are the best place to test new fits ;)

Seriously though, you may not get many kills on a HS hole but you will get great brawling fights.
People will almost always engage you because they know they can jump out, you just need to be ok with the win objective being making them jump first rather than a KM.

If you prefer kiting, you can usually pull people off the WH with nanof*g ships and 100mn tengu is great for bumping.

Pro Tip: If you really want that KM, park an alt 30km off the HS side of the hole in a tornado ;)

If they jump to hisec, bring a bs that everyone can use and close it for them.

Bob Artis, you will be missed.

If they're in structure, and you're not in an expensive ship, jump after them and volley them.

You'll get a killmail. CONCORD'll get a killmail. They won't. Delicious tears ensue.

A good fun thing to do is bait them.. With like a pimp fit tanked t2 hauler.. Or bring a highsec alt around and jump something stupid huge in behind them and close the hole..

Spend time on the fore play. If you think you've done enough ground work; Double it and you'll be fine. Make sure it's nice and stable before you go balls deep.

Or if they're just in a flimsy ship, in general. The only time I've suicide ganked someone was a sabre who jumped through a highsec hole to avoid me. A thorax well spent.

No Concord stops you from jumping.
If you however manage to do that it will be seen as an exploit, as somehow evading concord is considered an exploit.

Wouldn't it be fun if we somehow got the limited engagement timer on such situations? (cyan flag)

Yes but another special and easily-misspelled color like mauve or taupe.

I actually rather like the colour cayenne that usually comes up with limited agression... wait, I spelled that wrong, didn't I?

Edit: my apologies on a bit of a necro. Was reading deeper trying to find some info, and was just opening threads that caught my eye.
