i'm sorry but one of the things that has always irked me about traditional game environments are uninitiated jerky swings of pov

i'm a pod pilot

i do not want need nor find at all appealing never ever being allowed to decide how i end up aligned or approaching a gate to begin with and now all of a sudden my focus as i am jumping is swung out of control and suddenly zoomed in then when the jump is done its swung around yet again and even more of a random feeling of any idea what direction i am facing

you have managed to completely disrupt suspension of disbelief for someones glory shot...great

IT IS BEAUTIFUL

now leave my eyes in my own head or my camera drones or whatever in my con trol stop swinging me around lie a rag doll and deciding what is interesting to me please

its not at all amusing on more than three jumps

make it a toggle or its really just beautifully annoying

You could have said this nicer. But I agree. Camera is not tracking but still it tracks your ingate.

Just to be clear here, the jump animation will still be there and if you want a disable camera swing option then you will be entering that tunnel sideways which is WAYYY more disorienting then a 2 second movement.

From what I have gathered from CCP talking about it, the actual tunnel you see forming and the travel through said tunnel is integrated into the actual session change and thus you will NOT be able to disable it. Again, they can take it out for you but it will be removed from everybody else as well, and sorry but like in any community the majority will rule this one. CPP is getting rid of all of these load bars and fade to black screens, if they already had an animation for un-docking im sure they would impalement it right away.

The animation will probably NOT have a disable button, but I do agree they can do something with the camera. If you disable the tracking cam at the end of the jump (which you dont need because your cam has already traveled through the gate) then it gives a few extra seconds to the front of the jump to slow the swing down a bit so that its a bit more smoother instead of jerky.

I wouldn't mind these changes made, but what you are asking for is not possible, sorry.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
