Maybe its just me because im so damn forgetful

But I use this feature all the time

"I forgot to change ships"

"I forgot my ammo"

"I forgot to accept the mission"

"I forgot to pick up that last thing for Dear Leader and he will beat me if I fail to return with his new X module"

"I forgot....etc...etc...."

Sorry but i really really like this feature....not sure why it has been removed on SiSi.

okay went on to SiSi to look at this

must say it was much easier to find before - now its almost a "hidden feature" - CCP i thought we were doing away with such things.

the undock button is way on the bottom where you undock then its natural for your cursor to float back to the middle of the screen in prep for the undock....now if i have forgotten something i have to go to the bottom to click the button again.

Hate to say it but i did not mind the the way it was....this looks like change for change's sake and makes something that was useful - less useful.

While you are at it, could you make "abort jump" between systems? =)

* I hate station games so if you really want to undock, you should be sure --> No need for abort button.

I disagree!

Hit stop ship, and you won't jump after coming out of warp. If you want to after hitting jump, you're a bit late.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

This, when I saw this thread I immediately updated SiSi and I was waiting for an animation the whole time repeatedly docking and undocking to see if it was just a glitch or bug that I couldn't see an animation.

Was expecting my Slicer to zoom out of the hangar like a boss.

Anyways, CCP says it's in an early stage, so I trust that they'll make this more entertaining.

Good to know that this feature is still work in progress, right now is worst than what we have now. Took me a while to notice the undocking text moved to the bottom of the screen and I was pretty sad to see that there is no Abort button. Flashing light for an undock animation is not something we can call a new feature. Also I would like to have the camera turned outside into the space and not to the station when I undock, so I can see that beautiful scan animation sliding slowly over my screen, would be awesome. Than would be pretty close to the undocking process we saw and loved in SW or BSG... your leaving the dark docking bay then your out in open space surrounded by stars... and ships with guns.

I noticed the change quite easily, since I was used to TQ with press undock > screen pops up to stop undock > undock and since it didn't appear i clicked a few times more, then I noticed the "undocking" thing under in my screen, mostly hidden under a window...Hopefully it will get better.

I think that the aborth undock thing is just good as it is now, it requires only one click to abort it and its easy to find out that maybe for abort you just click the undock button again.

the abort is much more graceful than before. I like the location: the same place where my mouse was to initiate undock--which makes sense if I am changing my mind after recently initiating the undock.

Immersion is great. The idea of watching your ship haul itself out of station is one of those transition moments.

In the sake of immersion, though, is there a way to 'undock' from the hangar view without going to the neocron? Possibly double clicking down the tube or something? It's a small thing, but when your trying to play windowless eve, cq does a great job, but the old ship-spinning hangar is missing some functionality.

To the topic at hand, switch the yellow arrows over to a big red X after you press 'undock'. It'll be easier to understand that this stops the undock.

If you're driven to threaten others with harm or violence because of what they do in game, you can't separate fantasy from reality. That "griefer/thief" is probably more sane than you are. How screwed up is that?

Actually, I feel that the more experienced players will be more used to the mouse floating back to the screen whereas newer players won't be used to that. Once you remove that from the equation...it does actually make since to have the undock and abort button in the same place; however, I think a better labeling could be used. For instance when you click undock, it should display ABORT under the button so that it is easily visible. Other then that, I kinda of like having the button act as both actions, I forget things too ^.^ and to be honest I hate that little button in the middle of the screen, I usually have to hit it twice before it aborts properly. Having a larger button allows me to easily hit it once im in panic mode to stop the undock haha

please please tell us this currently MASSIVE UNDOCK button is *NOT* the finished state....oh dear for the love of all that is good, please!!!!

Can't seem to move it anywhere, and it is awful looking.

Just b/c you took away a useful interface, does not mean you need to 'fix' the replacement by making it worse...
