The Talocan United alliance has recently added the following line to its mission statement:

We view the environment of wormhole space as hallowed ground. We will defend it aggressively against all outsiders, harassing and evicting those with sovereignty in other areas of space.


We were fortunate enough to put this into action this past weekend (May 11), when we found a reinforced POS owned by Goonswarm in J110946.

Note: To whoever stront-checked the POS before leaving, we thank you heartily. You did the heavy lifting, and we were more than happy to finish the job.

A CTA later and we had a fast, heavy-hitting Tornado fleet on the tower within 3 minutes of when it came out of RF. Our 1400's made short work of the stick. (Since killmail links are prohibited, simply search for our alliance on eve-kill.net for the BR.)

The residents, apparently expecting only a stront check, never signed on during the takedown phase. Well, except for one very surprised and unlucky Drake pilot, who was very quickly shown the pod express.

The best part? An unfitted Revelation was left floating in the field for our greedy mitts. I have no idea where the original pilot went, why it was still unfitted, or why they didn't self-destuct it or log it off; but within about 10 minutes of the force field going down, it was already safely stored in a station in low sec. Thank you for the donation, Goons; thank you.

I believe we need a sticky thread for Stront check sillyness.. Cuz i know we do these things in hardknocks so I would like to know if my carelessness with my dread has made someone elses day.. We should keep this thread bumped and report on any random stront checks that resulted in glorious lootz and killmails..

Or does no one else feel the need to reinforce any and all small or med pos without hardners.?

Glad someone managed to get that Rev. We stront checked it, but that same tower had been stront checked by BU 10 days before, probably creating the expectation that no one would be coming for it.

**** it, this was the last straw. We though going into wormhole space would be different than k-space. "Everyone is friendly there" they told us. "People help eachother out in W-Space" they said. Now I see that Wormholes are full of 'PvPers' and 'Trolls' who are only out for making real players' lives difficult... who will PvP you without even /bow emoting beforehand. So whatever, I'm done with this; I'll have to go back to mining in Deklein to be able to PLEX this month, since you 'Trolls' took my only means of isk generation. Evil
