I know the current Paladin is a placeholder, but its Carthum Conglomerate colour scheme looks slightly different to the other Carthum ships, in a good way

Currently the Carthum ships seem to have a dark purply red while the Paladin on Sisi is more of a blood red, which is awesome and in my opinion looks so much nicer, especially as the current Carthum ships looks so dark and dull in space.

The Paladin looks like a ship design by Tony Stark.

+1 on this, it looks so good that i want to train pally now other Carthum ships have this ugly something like red that i resign training them lol but true story

It looks better than the old V3'd Carthum color scheme, but then again, I passed a turd that looks better than the old V3'd Carthum color scheme. I named it "Ark" because it reminded me of a certain ship that just got V3'd

Well, even the the Ark uses a slightly modified Carthum shader. Normal Carthum ist bordeaux/grey-brown/gold while the Ark is bordeaux/dull gold/gold. In my oppinion, the central problem with Carthum-ships is primarily the missing contrast between the brownish and red parts of the hull, no doubt partially because of the 2007 texture-resolution. And while the red is a tad too dark in the current colour-sheme, if all Carthum-ships get the Ark colors there should be enough contrast between the different coloars to make Carthum ships once more look awesome.
