Fozzie posted this the other day about ice anom sizes

A solo skiff runs around 600 Ice a day or 33 minutes to fill the 15 M3 hold. That's with tank in the low slots and no bonus alt. 2500 would keep a few of them busy for a while. I couldn't even begin to tell you how long a 25 alt army would need to peel off that much Ice. It was never a benefit to mine the stuff for me. It was never a math favorite to mine Ice for a High Sec miner though. Every mineral could be mined and sold to buy Ice products and the math said do that instead. Because people mined Ice anyway, there is no way to know what people will do. Mining Ice was always illogical.

Also confirm it's a multi-boxer, not a bot. For what that's worth.

Nothing, in both cases it's a program controlling and modifying the game client

How to tell the difference between mining bots and mining multiboxers:

Step 1: Report them to the Minerbumping community
Step 2: Watch www.minerbumping.com for info on how your bot suspect reacts to being ganked

To the best of my knowledge, no bot has yet been programmed to whinge in local or via evemail after being purged by antimatter. On the other hand, many multiboxers will.

If the results are inconclusive or if you 'accidentally' lose your results, feel free to repeat the process over and over.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

I think you guys are a farce, have had an alt chilling in the "controlled" systems for like 2 weeks now and haven't seen hide nor hair of any of the "New Order".Cry

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Make some friends. Suicide gank all 75 of them. Send each one a mail explaining why. If you get 75 unique responses then they are all players and you can feel free to apologize and/or smacktalk them. If you get less than 75 unique replies, pat yourself on the back for having done a service to the community, and consider petitioning them for botting.

Hope this helps!Big smile

I don't think you understand what the concept of multi-boxing is.

This is what happens when everything gets manipulated to the point, you either control or capitulate.

Expect to see this be the standard when you scan down an Ice anom in the new system.

Ah no way, multiboxers depend on rocks with near infinite resource to work. After Odyssey the advantage goes back to the actual botters again.

Without knowing how large Anomaly Ice fields are going to be, I wouldn't try making a debate one way or the other.

80% of Ice based on demand will be in High Sec, was what I saw being sent around as information but there is nothing in the Dev blog that tells us how much these Anomalies will have in Ice, how big the Ice rocks will be or how they plan to calculate 80%

If it's scan Ice, 'blob' Ice with an Alt army, go back to mining Ore for a few hrs, catch the next Ice spawn, (4 hrs was a number I saw) I'm guessing ATK multi boxers win Ice in EVE.

I see TEST/GOONS ganking ice miners on a regular basis. Perhaps they will do something about people who multibox like that. Instead of ganking actual players and or demanding idiotic "mining permits" from them...their ganking efforts could serve the universe as a whole if they dealt with bots/multiboxers instead.
