How many Collectors Editions are there to be issued?

As is in the title, simple question, haven't seen it get its own thread and no response from tacking it into the general thread.

Does anybody know how many will there be? 10k? 1k?

Also will they be numbered with a certificate of authenticity?

I'm a collector and already ordered it as soon as it was announced, juts want to get some more information on what I ordered.

My guess, is they will produce whatever amount is needed. It doesn't say limited anywhere so...

It's just a box with stuff in it from how I understood it.

So if you are looking for a Limited Collectors thing, this is probably not it.

Probably limited in the sense that once they do come up with a number (by adding up all pre-orders + their prognosis of realistic sales over a few years + some as a stock for randum purposes) and produce it, they won't produce any more (usb rifters are not made in-house etc). The "while stocks last" part sounds somewhat deceptive, because simply a mock-up has been shown to us the customers.. and there probably is no stock to speak of atm anyway since the thing ships in late autumn.

i just locked an open door.. strange, yet symbolically compelling.

The real question is if you can apply the code to an existing account and get the golden pod, I'm Amarr and I deserve a golden pod!

Actually no I don't really care about that as much as the smug value of knowing how exclusive the CE is. My CE of HotS has a number on the back of the Art book for instance, hoping for a similar thing in this one Big smile
