Check out Black Dragon Fighting Society or Min0r Threat. Both are new pirate / player friendly.

I went flashy red last year about this time and I don't regret it whatsoever. Train a quick alt to do your hauling and shopping for you.

Second this. You can get an amarr alt into a bestower in next to no time. Have him haul stuff you need from highsec. Then do what you want to do with your main, and don't worry about consequences. If you want to carebear, use your transport alt.
