Life can change ones perspective so quickly. Roughly three years ago while serving aboard a Bestower class industrial, I had the misfortune to be present for a brutal, yet not uncommon raid by the infamous Blood Raider covenant. The slaves and meager security force were wiped out within minutes of boarding, and the rest of us were herded onto the captain's cruiser. I remember thinking about how cliche my story was about to become. How angry I was that I would soon become another statistic used in bedtime stories used to frighten small children. For ten days we were held captive, and one by one we were being taken off to some unknown, gruesome fate.

The captain and ringleader of this particular band of raiders, whose name was Yurik, was for the most part unremarkable. (As unremarkable as a leader of cutthroat bandits can be.) He did possess two remarkable assets that saved my life however. One, was an astounding perception, as he apparently was able to sense something in me no instructor or professor had before. After some preliminary tests with equipment which I didn' t imagine was common to a simple pirate, I was determined to be viable for training as a capsuleer. His second asset, a team of scientists under the leadership of one who owed him some debt, were capable of training and preparing said capsuleers. For three years I was kept mostly isolated from those around me, focusing entirely on technical training. It turned out Yurik was quite ambitious, and eager to have a capsuleer under his wing, and insisted that things like religious studies and ritual indoctrination could be saved for later, which I found shortly on, rubbed anyone who happened to come into contact with me the wrong way. They felt that a gift so grand as immortality, should be saved for someone who has proven themselves loyal. Yet complete the program I did, and two days ago we left the science facility towards a trading hub to find me a suitible ship to begin combat training.

It was here that Yurik saved my life again. We were set upon by Imperial navy forces, and were quickly overwhelmed (What a common sight this has become for me.) In the final moments, Yurik gave me access to his private escape pod, along with docking codes and the contents of his account. Before being forcibly ejected from the ship I was told to continue on the path he set me on. That I was to head towards Delve. I would be lying if I said I didn't consider surrendering to the Navy and try explaining my situation, but I am glad I did not, for every lifeboat was destroyed on sight. I myself would be floating in space if not for the captains expensive modifications.

I have made my way to a logistical staion in 1DH-SX after some persuit from the navy. I now find myself in the relative safety of the station, though dare not venture out into space until I gain some bearings.

This is not a grand announcment of my new career as a capsuleer. This is not a cry for charity or a place among the covenants warriors (not yet anyways.) This is merely a greeting to any Covenant loyalists, and a request for knowledge and whatever guidance is available, or if not that, just some notification that you are out there. I have none but the esteemed Omir to owe my loyalty to, and am an ineffective pilot in a dangerous system with little knowledge of the Sani Sabik but a burning desire to learn.

We are out there.

Though i am not currently within the Delve region as circumstances have taken me elsewhere, i will look into your plight and see if i can help you, though im sure you will understand if i am wary of giving you too much information at this time.

'For blood is the truth of the soul, the life of the body, and the power of the mind. Giving of your blood is thus giving of your soul, body, and mind. Those believers who share their blood will be bonded as brothers, and the blood friends will use their unified strength to control the universe.'

"My word lies within all,
All it requires is the breath of faith,
To ignite the fire,
So the lost can find their way,
So the fallen can rise,
To take their place as my chosen,
For you are all my creation,
And are all equal in my kingdom."

I am a day old pilot as far as anyone is concerned. Any truly valuable information would be very unwise to share with the likes of me. In fact I may even think less of you for it, heh.

This is precisely where I wanted to start. I shall be comprising a log for this sort of thing, and I thank you brother for reaching out to me.

I slept well last night, but couldn't help but wonder why captain Yurik traded his life for mine. Perhaps the thought of returning home losing an investment he fought so hard to earn was more terrifying than a quick death in the void. I do not know.

Im sure there are are great plans afoot for you as no Captain of the cabal would needlessly sacrifice himself, if you are whom you say you are i hope we cross paths in the near future.

May your enemies be drowned in their own blood.

Relish the time you have left heretic. The Empire will not suffer your taint in the heavens for much longer.

A fascinating tale, Kalothetos. It is good that this is not a cry for charity, as you'd be barking up the completely wrong tree. The knowledge and guidance you seek can't be given. You have to take it for yourself and from yourself. I do look forward to seeing what becomes of you.

The Empress' "dogs" have been sent, and we're wiping the Blood Raiders from the face of Delve and Period basis. ship. by. ship.

Then come to the dark places you and your ilk fear to tread, your flesh and blood will be a pleasant addition to my collection.

Been in Delve for three days now. My connections to Yurik and "wealth" as a capsuleer have secured me a stationside apartment quicker than I thought possible. Jack, (forgive the informalities) is correct. One does not ask for knowledge and power, one takes it. I have learned this already. I've been offered boosters three times already, and accepted once. Once again I almost met an early end as the stranger peddling drugs led me to a less traveled area of the station where a few of his buddies lay in wait. It was only through dumb luck and a bad feeling that I managed to back out, overtake the peddler and flee before his friends caught up to us. Didn't get what I wanted.. but I did snag a few blue pills.

I have made a connection with an agent of the Covenant in a quieter area and have begun my "quest", you could call it (though I ask you don't this isn't some holo game), to take. I didn't think that the first time I would kill someone would be so spectacular, and I didn't think it would extend beyond one person to begin with. But twice now I have been asked to intercept small poorly protected troop transports, carrying numerous Imperial heretics to unknown locations no doubt looking to stir things up. No survivors were left remaining, and it feels good to strike back.

My agent has mentioned a spiritual advisor he knows that he would be willing to introduce me to, after I remain under his emply for a longer period of time. (Of course.) I've also began to slowly take the Apocryphon piece by piece to attempt to learn where my place truely is.
