I tracked down the cause of the random blue wrecks issue today. Let's just agree not talk about that one any more, ok? ;)

I also double-checked the outlaw/criminal auto-abandon behaviour. Only characters with a Criminal flag will have their cans/wrecks/NPCs auto-abandoned. Outlaws (chars with sec-status < -5) are unaffected - their cans will be white just like everyone else's (unless they also happen to have a Criminal flag)

Right now it looks like 3m ISK is the money cost of the sec gain? Seems a bit low. That's three battleship or tags4sec rats.

That sounds like the CONCORD fee for a single tag. You'll need to pay the fee for each tag you use (and some tag types have a higher fee)

Yes it was the Concord fee and for the lowest tags which I thought would be most expensive. Perhaps it is flipped. I shall nerf my sec status tomorrow and see if the higher/better/smaller (gotta figure out a naming convention) tags are more expensive.

Try doing a show-info on the tags (via the market for example). The fees should be listed there

Wrecks are showing up white now :)

I played with the office a bit more and see how the ISK per tag increases. Right now 87 million from -10-0. We were discussing around 100m would be a reasonable arc of ISK minus the Tags so this is fitting within expectations/opinion.

The spawn rate feels good. I'm not having problems finding them in -3 and down space. As long as they respawn and it isn't just a downtime thing it feels pretty good to me.

A minor point that may or may not matter. Ice belts were belts and are now anoms. They, however had NPCs in them for ratting. With the removal of Ice belts, systems like Weld will now only have one lonely somewhat POS belt to spawn things in. I guess, it doesn't matter but in some ways for ratting potential in general it seems like we should get a belt replacement. I really only comment here because Tags4Sec only drop in belts. Anoms will spawn rats (maybe? I assume?) and people can still do their isk making ratting from them. Mostly, I'm thinking out loud.

In general, I am happy with this. It works as advertised. Lots of people don't want to install the test server but I haven't been receiving negative feedback from my fellow flashy reds over my reviews of this to them.

People still think it will be stealth bomber farming.

The rats need to be much much harder to kill and they should have a small sig with high AB speed so you can't stealth bomber them. I think 400dps should be the minimum to kill one, that rules out a lot of farmer tactics. They should also web and scram you.

While wishing to rule out farmers you also have to be careful not to rule out newer and lower level players. Low sec already suffers from decreased income opportunities for lower skill pointed characters to help mediate their losses. Making a DPs minimum such as listed is going to negatively affect those who could most benefit from this as an income source.

Fair point. Maybe a large buffer then, so they take a long time to kill, but with a much smaller active tank. I still think they should web and scram you.
