EVE New Citizens Q&A

Hey Everyone!

Have been playing EVE for the last 3 years (this is my YT char).
Most of the time I see new players come in and get overwhelmed by the way EVE is different from the mainstream. Sadly, some of potentially good pilots never stick around as they feel EVE is way too strange.

Now, there is no simple way to explain the game. Yet I thought it may be useful to try and demonstrate the basic elements of the sand box in a more casual manner - avoiding most of the small stuff in favor of focusing on the fundamentals, such as:

- Choosing one's path
- Making money in ways other than mission running and mining
- Daring to try what others believe is dangerous

Hoping this video guide helps new players on their way to discover the awesomeness of the New Eden Galaxy.

Indeed, I intended to speed up a bit for the rest of the series.
Won't be able to really cover all the game play within 5 episodes.

Accent: not really specific to my country, I guess - Bulgarian.

Just because you made a new character for the video doesn't mean you are a young character / new player.

As said in the OP, you have been playing for 3 years. Which means, no matter how newly created that alt is...it will always be someone with 3 years of experience and knowledge about the game controlling it.
So you can never be a true new player anymore.

Still doesn't make the videos bad and it surely doesn't make it impossible for real new players to do the same though
