Platinum Insurance i like 8K isk and i got back 40 K ( pre balance market price) while the rebalanced slasher production cost is around 400.000 isk.

insurance is based on the estimated market value of the materials required to make the ship. It's possible that the insurance formula wasn't updated with the new materials requirements.

I suggest crossposting to Bug Reports.
