I hunt deer. They have little recourse for damages other then family memeber revenge when they jump in front of my truck. So why do I hunt, because the thrill of the hunt is the true joy. Getting a 12 point versus taking a 4 point is just sugar on top. You were a 4 pointer Blink

It's true, I did not look any further into your remarkable past.

Alright, I'll credit you with the title fail wannabe vigilante then.

Actually, when I came back to the game, a couple months ago, Cookie was typing in Scope's channel. Bot status: disconfirmed.

Also, Deer Chili is delicious.

In all seriousness, you need help dude.

Not once have you displayed an ounce of personal responsibility for your choices and actions. You keep trying to hide behind "other people are bad and are trolls and I'm a victim", which just invites more people to ridicule you. And you deserve that ridicule.

You've done some dumb things in game (and then post about them while lying through your teeth about how you don't care lol), and rather than ask "how can Asmodai Xodai keep this from happening again" you retreat into some mental wonderland where losing isn't losing, you didn't want that drake or ratting isk anyway and people telling you the truth are trolls.

Try to not be so clueless and maybe you'd get along better with people.

A goon being embarrassed by being associated with someone else... now THAT, quite literally, is the funniest thing I've read on this thread yet.

You are going to single-handedly get your entire alliance set to red by the Goons, and I am going to laugh at you for what happens in the ensuing debacle. Rage some more, little nooblet....

I too see the coming of the "Xodai Wars". It will start when GENTS force Asmodai Xodai to join Goons, and then Goons invade GENTs space to keep him out of Goons! :) .

Heh, I wish I had the power. Well, maybe not, I quite love Lake and Kesper (sorry Malcanis, I had Kesper above you on my CSM list, don't hate me), so I wouldn't want to damage our top-hatted, monacle-wearing brothers. However, Xodai needs dragging out back and getting one in the head [Standard required disclaimer for all Goons - In game only of course].

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

Absolutely epic. Had to dock up to refill my popcorn. Very rare.

Given that this sorry chap is now actively using "trollface" and other assorted under-12s insults (including the highly effective "I have had sexual activity with your mother" line), I think I'll call it now. In before lock.

The story is quite standard, unremarkable, and boring. I was doing the standard hunting of carebears in nullsec, using a good ship. Had local chat pulled up, of course. Was sniffing around when a couple of hostiles appeared in local chat. I noticed it instantly, but was also close to falling asleep. Decided to go for it, as it was only going to be another 10 seconds or so to see if I could catch him. I then appeared in his anomaly, at what I considered to be fairly far away (more than 20km and outside of my scram range). He tried to "warp out" to the nearest station but I just burned at him and overheated scram as fast as I could. He almost made it out - in fact the ship was almost aligned. Of course, I closed the distance really fast and managed to hit him with my short range warp scrambler, dropping him out of warp. I had a couple of buddies who then warped in, and long story short, he was dead.

Again, not particularly interesting or remarkable at all, and completely "standard." So I will continue on to my question.

Why do these guys engage in this sort of activity? They are playing a dumbed-down version of the game so they don't understand basic mechanics, and all they can see is money. His clone spawned one jump away. It just took a couple of clicks to set up another clone, stick in more el 'cheapo implants, collect his insurance payment, and jump into another shitfit ship. Also, he only had 110,000 ISK bounty on him, which is from Jercy Fravowitz.

If you engage in this sort of activity, I'm curious. Pray tell. What's the payoff, or benefit to you, to expend the time and energy to do this? Do you actually enjoy mindlessly clicking red crosses in ships you consider worthless and completely replaceable? Do you generally find anything of value, and do these carnival prizes give you a better feeling of satisfaction from the game than the ultimate triumphing over another player? These are honest questions, by the way.

No, these aren't tears. No, I don't want anything changed or nerfed in the game. Yes, please continue to play the game as you wish to play it. I'm just curious about an activity which seems to have no fun or return on investment from my perspective. Since I wouldn't really engage in anything that doesn't have fun, I'm curious why others do. I'm guessing there is something I'm missing, therefore I'd like to know what it is.

I haven't responded to 95% of the bulls.hit you spew every time you open your hole. But really I have to ask just what the frak are you talking about?

What 'personal responsibility?' The personal responsibility of asking a simple question that, as simple as it is, still quite manages to be beyond the IQ grasp and reading-comprehension ability of trolls like yourself?

What 'choices' and 'actions' are you referring to?

Ohhhh, I get it (facepalm). In your state of mental retardation, you somehow envision that this thread is about me not taking 'responsibility' for 'choices' and 'actions' corresponding with the loss of a drake. And no matter how many times the point is restated, you still can't get your one track mind off what you think the thread is about, vs. what it really is about.

You are such a low-grade moron that I really shouldn't waste my time with you, but this really isn't about you, it's about your incessant pollution and trolling of this thread over and over again. So let me see if I can explain this once again so that even someone as mentally-challenged as you can comprehend it.

On 'responsibility,' 'choices,' and 'actions,' yes - I am 100% responsible for every choice and every action I made, not only with regards to the story of the drake, but with everything else in my life. As I explained if you bothered to read, I saw the hostiles pop up in local. Did that go over your head, or do I need to say it again more slowly? I SAW THE HOSTILES POP UP IN LOCAL, comprehende'? Then I made a choice and an action. The choice I made was to attempt to finish off the last battleship before warping out, in hopes that I could do it before the hostiles showed up in the anom. My action then followed from that choice. My gamble didn't pay off.

So, what part of "I'm 100% responsible for all choices and actions" don't you understand? And why do you consider such obvious statements to be profound, or worth declaring? I just took a dump 5 minutes ago - do you somehow imagine that I think I'm not responsible for that choice and action as well? Are you that dumb, or crazy? Or are you actually far beyond a standard troll, and something more like a meta-troll, an uber-troll, or a god-troll?

I'd state once again that I'm quite comfortable with the choices and actions that I made and am responsible for. I'd state once again that I believe I won the encounter. I'd state once again (so far, none of the puss.y cowards here have taken me up on the offer, including yourself, even though I actually posted the time last night that I was ratting) that I'll put my style of gameplay up against anyone else, and that you are welcome to come hunt me in a ratting anom if you think you'll somehow benefit more than I will or in some way 'get ahead' by such action. But this thread isn't about responsibility for my choices and actions, imbecile. Quite frankly, that subject matter isn't particularly interesting for me - it's too obvious, boring. I like to know why other people play the game the way they do. I like to know their rationale, what makes them tick. What their motivations are. Why they do what they do.

Oh, but I beg to differ. I'm no victim here, and I'm no subject of ridicule. The trolls here - you chief among them - are the victims and subjects of ridicule, because with every word from your troll holes, you victimize and ridicule yourselves. I'm just eating the popcorn and watching the fireworks, and waiting for CCP to close this thread, if they ever bother to do so.

Quote:

Ah, but I've actually put my money where my mouth is, and invited anyone who believes I care to come get a few kills. I even promised you personally that I'd let you pop off a couple of noobships. I even gave you directions on how to find me, and how to avoid gatecamps and patrols along the way. So I'll let any honest observer here (assuming there are any) be the judge of who is being honest and who is simply a troll.

Look, guy. The point is that you're deluding yourself into believing that you didn't lose anything of value, and are then using that delusion as the basis of an extremely faulty rationalization that, by getting blown up, you somehow "won".

Your ship and its modules had market value and, as such, were contributing factors to your personal net asset value. They are gone, your net asset value has diminished. It's not "free" just because you had another ship handy. You previously had a NAV of X + Drake + Drake fittings. Now you have a NAV of X.

There's also a bit of the-lady-doth-protest-too-much going on, here. You've spent pages and pages and pages trying to convince the world that you don't care about the loss of your drake, and that it's completely meaningless. The world can't help but observe that, for someone who allegedly does not care, you spend an awful lot of time talking about it.
