Imagine how loud the EUROs would scream if 'roids where shrunk like ICE with 4 hour respawns?

Makes more sense anyway and should have happened years ago.
Do it.

Also, how does currency scream? And since when did EVE have intrusion countermeasure electronics? Is it part of the new hacking minigame, because that would be awesome!

I dont understand why euro's would scream, it would be better for most, working on normal days till like 1600 eve.
And well there's been plenty of roids to crunch at any time a day if you stop being in a selective few systems.

That tag makes me swoon malcanis.

Also, you speak words of wisdom Darth. They should make everything on a four hour respawn.

It will only have an effect when asteroids in mission deadspaces get nerfed, too. Else I'd just move there to mine and spawn the belts I need myself.

Other than that, I'm all for it. It's basically part of my mining ideas, using the new spawn mechanics introduced with the wormholes to define in which area of space gravimetric sites can spawn and then have belts somewhat realistically distributed in a system. For example all belts in Tash-Murkon Prime are around that one gas giant, thus all gravimetric anomalies will spawn within a certain distance of it.

And then add in multi grid belts and multi ore asteroids and comets and solar flares and everything else to make mining more awesome instead of a borefest.

Well, click on the wrong part of the minigame, and your virus takes damage from ICE, so... Smile

Lets see how all resources would shoot up in price with 4 hour asteroid belt respawns so no one time zone gets an advantage & make them smaller in HI,NULL,LO& WH space.
All asteroid belts become anoms... let the newbies saving up thru mining be damned

I WANT all static belts removed and turned into anomalies. It would let the game seed/change seed amounts throughout regions to control ore supply in hisec/balance markets easier. Plus act as a way to make lowsec seem more viable. Get more people interested in going to more lucrative pastures like lowsec or 0.0. and make people work together to take advantage of the more lucrative mining opportunities.

Belts should have a 2-3 month lifecycle. No downtime respawn bs, but instead they would include huge quantities of minerals, and would deplete completely when mined out. Then new roids would slowly start forming on belts, which would take a few months to grow into their former glory and beyond.

Unless they are mined out while still small.

Make it so.
Can we have a replacement for belt rat chaining in this included?

Unless you mean that the rate of growth is exponential, that's basically what happens with belts atm, except the HS spawn rates are way up.

Veldspar roids in nullsec are absolutely massive.

Anomalies. Those encounter sites yield more rats than the average belt, so with a somewhat increased spawn rate of anomalies, the loss of regular belts to rat in should be compensated. No more chaining though.

It makes sense in the game for the asteroid fields to go the way of the ice fields, but in the "real" universe, asteroid fields are pretty much static. So, in that way it doesn't make sense. I guess I never noticed that the Euro players deplete the fields as I have a job that has such a varying schedule that I can get all the ore I need when I want to support my other habits in the game. But, mining is just that for me, a support operation, not a way of life.

Randomly spawning asteroid sites would allow for a wider variety of asteroid fields, as anyone in WH's can tell you. This kind of diversity in anomaly-spawned asteroid belts would be very cool -- and would still allow asteroid fields to be a conflict driver.

You are actually pretty snarky and rude that I have seen Flake. Is that how most "Euro's" do things?
