Missions bugging during downtime

I have had this issue a few times now, and I am not sure what is causing it. I was in a mission, and had NOT completed it, but when I go back after downtime to re-clear the mission for the bounties, the gate has vanished but the mission is still uncompleted according to my journal entry.

What causes this? I can understand the gate vanishing if completed, but this is just irritating.

Petition it in game, and they'll reset the mission for you.

you have to leave the system you are in and come back.

its some stupid eve bug.

I had a similar problem, got it solved by docking at the random station in the system and undocking after 30 sec...

even tho i have sold my minge... i have coem to realise that sometimes NOTHING can make a mission respawn because of a downtime..

but as everyoone in this thread has said.. petition it.. within 5-15 minutes it will be reset. and all you have to do is ask your agent and the mission is ready.
where is my ability to link a sig properly CCP you munters!!
