There is not alot of info on this. I have been given a chance to join a corp as assist ceo not main ceo. Can I make an alliance for the corp by being given ceo rights in corp management. Idea

Do you mean you've been made a director?

If so, you cannot make applications to join other alliances as a director, that is up to the current CEO, and there can only ever be one CEO.

I’m a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan.

I've been given the same role as CEO and that should mean I can do what a ceo does. I can even remove him as CEO. So can't I create an alliance. If not then what is needed to create an alliance. I do not want too create another corp and the main ceo would like to take a leave from the corp and try null for abit.

No information? Have you looked?

http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Alliance

You need to have Empire Control Level 5 in order to make an alliance. Only the CEO can make an alliance. Only the CEO can apply to an alliance.

This is my gate. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My gate is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my gate is useless. Without my gate, I am useless.

Theres no "The same roles as CEO, closest to it is the Director role (which includes all other grantable roles) but theres still stuff that only a CEO can, as forming, joining or leaving an alliance.

Also, it costs some isk to form an alliance and theres not much point in doing it unless you are going 0.0 or can't figure out how to use standings between corps.

yeah, an ALLIANCE costs 1 billion (yes, billion) isk to put up. Director can act in the CEOs stead, but there are still things that a director can't do (live the final step to put a wardec thru, or the final step in unlocking BPOs).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Standings between corps doesn't let you set use-rights at POSes. Forming an alliance also increases the cost of wardecs against your group. There are other advantages in having an alliance over a bunch of corps with excellent standings.

I've been doing some reading on submitting a alliance logo. I'm not good at creating stuff how would someone find someone to create an alliance logo if one was needed. Plus The corp logo is out dated along with the limited colour given. I don't see why CCP can't define updated corp logo's and color allowing players and corporation more leeway in choice.

If you have the ISK, I am sure you can find someone who is willing to make you an awesome looking alliance logo. You could check out either the Sell Orders or make an offer on the Want ads & Trades forum.

Alliance logos isn't an ingame asset as such, but they are an exception to the rules against trading ingame assets for real world assets / services.

Not too long ago the corporation logos was updated to make them more fresh and better looking.

While more customization would be a great thing, developers has to take the infamous TTP into account. To put it professionally, this is the time it takes for the community to use the tools they've been given to make a representation of the male reproductive organ.

I know that none of you fine capsuleers would ever think of doing such a thing, but you'll never know what your cat might do on your computer when you aren't looking.

Lame answers. I don't care if corp logos are fresh we as eve players would like to see (NEW) corp logos and a better colour palette. And I'm sure most eve players would agree to a better schematic for both. Strange as your answer is if you can create a corp for 1mil isk and have basic corp logo's and color you dam well should have better if your spend 1 bil isk.

And I will be sub my alliance logo too ccp as instructed by them http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1250159

Corp logo's are either last, or non existant on the average player's list of "things we want ccp to do".

It currently takes ccp >6months to process ALLIANCE logo's,.
