Hey all,

We are old. How old?...Well, we are old enough to have kids playing EVE in college.

So we are that old and we play lots of games. EVE is something we have played in the past, and are playing again as of a few weeks ago. We have RL stuff like anyone our age, and cant always play, but we want to be part of an active group which has time for our "Duh" moments. All three of us are US East, and we would love to hang out with ppl who play in GMT (we're talking to you, UK night owls!) or EDT. One of us has been feeding our EVE account for a several years and not really getting into the game, one of us played 3 yrs ago and left, and one of us is totally new to the game.


Here are some things about us:

- We know we are currently Carebears, but we don't have a prob with going native in 0,0 if someone will teach us how to survive.

- We play as often as we can and while we play most nights, there are periods of time we can't play at all.

- We are RL freinds who have known each other for years.

- Mr "Zsstka" likes to mine...he like to mine a lot. Z is in his 50s and has played more than a few MMO's, but never dedicated himself to a subscription game until EVE. Z likes to game solo or join-in a group of calm collaborators; he his about as low-key as the come. Mining, Ratting, and figuring out the game in are a blast for him...and he loves to play with apps to monitor his Main.

- Mr "88" loves to explore. Scanning-down is something that turns his crank big-time. 88 is approaching 45, and has played MMO's the longest spending most of his time in MMORPGs...he also loves the crap out of classic StarCraft. 88 is a 'gamer' but would rather interact with ppl than play alone games if given the chance. 88 is also one of the most gifted masters of in-game markets as you will find...regardless of the game 88 makes the big-bucks.

-Ms "RaQin" loves everything about EVE, and is the one who has fed her main for 3 years while playing everything else under the Sun. RaQin is 45 and is excited about getting into everything EVE...Exploration, PVE, PVP, Mining, and the market. Black Ops are a thing she wants to do, but has no practical experience even though her Main can do them (skill-wise). RaQin plays more games than most ppl, has play games longest out of the three, and has several thousand hrs in multiple MMO's. She also posts on gaming related news via Raptr.com...if you love games, RaQin will talk about everything with you, any genre, both old games and new.

Evening, Miss Kanakoka. I think I have an offer that might be able to hit all of the bases.

My corporation, Sinclair Unified Arms, is currently looking for personnel as we get established. From the sound of things we have spots for each and every one of you.

In broad strokes, SUA is an aerospace and munitions company that manufactures ships, ammunition, weaponry and other ship mods. Right now we need miners to help build a stockpile of minerals, people who know how to play the market to sell our stock, and who generally are willing to work as a tight-knit group in a friendly environment.

Since you guys are bringing a tight-knit group with you, I'd say you're already off to a good start.

I'm not going to lie to you, you're going to be getting offers from corporations who are far more established than we are. Hell, there's one above me right now. Still, if you're looking for a place to go, SUA has one for you. We'll have work for you to do as often as you can find the time and a corporate venture being built from the ground-up that you can get in on early.

I help run a UK based corp out of Gallente space. By and large, we fly in high sec, with minor ops in low.

Our players range from EST to GMT to GMT +1, and there's usually someone about. We recognise that RL takes precedence over games, and we're looking for people to just join us in our various activities. The corp is settling in, and there's room for a few more pilots who would like to be a part of something.

Forgive my brief mail, I'm currently at work and can't type a flower reply. Below I'll attach a link to our corporation, it is certainly one that can accommodate everything the three of you are looking for. Thank you very much or rolling out the virtual red carpet to us...The reception we received has blown us away! We were really surprised to see as many well considered invites with personal touches.

The three of us have received as many post replies as we have in-game emails, and one thing we have learned for certain is that there are a lot of great corps out there to choose from. The EVE Community is deep diverse, and truly rocks!

As you can imagine we have talked a bit amongst ourselves, and we decided that so many of the welcomes we received exceeded our expectations (and closely matched what we are looking for), that to take anymore into consideration would make it too hard for us to decide. We will be making our choice from the welcomes we have received thus far. We will also be replying to everyone who pinged us in in-game mail, regardless of whether we chose to accept or decline your corporations welcome.
