Just wondering when is this years alliance tournament?

AT X kicked off in June so I was surprised to not see it mentioned so far, is there going to be one?

furthermore, when is the cuttoff for members joining? Age of the Alliance? etc. Some clarification on last year's standards would be nice

Once they officially announce it and start interviewing commentator candidates, I'd expect maybe 2 months out from that.

So, my best guess, probably July at the earliest right now.

Go watch the SCL this weekend, hopefully it will ease some of the withdrawal symptoms.

As Fozzie mentioned today, the call for commentators has gone out (or will be going out very shortly).

So, I'd guess probably at least 2 months from now, to get commentators set and give teams at least 8-10 weeks to practice, maybe late July?

Last year it was right over 4th of July. Do not do that again. Yeah, I know. Stupid 'merican holidays. But for pete's sake. Some consideration for customers' holidays.

just to update from the blog. ATXI will be for 3 weekends starting on July 20th.

The cuttoff date was this morning at downtime (no heads up). not sure what the meta is here for that, but im not going to complain cause i got it sorted beforehand xD

September would have been such a bad idea, thank you CCP for not choosing September for the sake of bandwidth, there would have been too many players and viewers.
