Holy **** its bad. Please, if you're going to nerf it, at least leave it with a decent capacitor, or some agility, rather then whiping out literally everything that makes this ship so much fun to fly. I can understand the speed nerf, to a degree the fitting nerf, and even the agility nerf but when combined with the capacitor nerf, this ship looks like its going to be about as useful as the cruor (Yeah, cuz we really see those piloted everywhere right?).

Hilarious that these are all issues with the daredevil.

Edit: I mean drawbacks to the daredevil.

You will not be able to fit the dram the same as before with all the speed, dual prop, and extender. That's what the nerf is intended to do.

As Acac said.. try flying a daredevil.

It was fun while it lasted. But last I heard there are other ships in this game. Try a few you might fall in love all over again.

I'm just really dissapointed to see the nerf being so total, to the point where people simply won't be flying the dramiel anymore, except for nostalgia.

I agree with the OP.

The deal with the dramiel is that it rewarded veteran pilots who were willing to spoil themselves a little bit. The average "orbit -> shoot" tactic has never worked for the dramiel because of tracking issues at high speeds. If you flew it without an intimate knowledge of how to handle it you lost it, and if you flew it with care it rewarded you. That's how a 70m frigate should fly.

Not everyone knows how to effectively kite and keep range, and now people who have risked their dramiel enough to fly it right are effectively relegated to owning a vanity ship. I killed a dramiel in a rifter last week. If it were really in need of a nerf that wouldn't have happened.

and ive killed a dramiel in a vindicator, but really, its a frigate, the worse frigates get the happier i am!

lol @ all the haters. Dram + daredevil went toe to toe before... and hybrids are going to be much better, but EVERYONE whines about the dram, so it got nerfed.

New dramiel is worse than a vigil, though. Seriously... there's nerfing and then just making a ship completely useless. CCP did the latter.

I agree the nerf is a bit drastic however I'm sure we can all agree here that it was OP for a frig in the 1st place. I'm sure this isn't the final draft of the nerf so cool it till CCP releases the new final Dram then if it's too much say so. It will be revisited in 18 Months Smile

dont be stupid, the dram is very much in need of a nerf. however, said nerf shouldnt be "to the ground".

id rather the damn thing didnt exist than put up with seeing just drams everywhere.

It still has much more cap than a typical frigate (365 base is a hell of a lot), is still the fastest (and second most agile) frigate, can still comfortably fit dualprop/mse/200s or almost any of the other currently-used setups with a bit of tweaking, and still has all its dps/dps projection. The nerf is actually pretty well-judged.

I see now more and more navi slicers on the gates trying to decloak bombers lol Is that our new replacement hehe
