So I've done some mining and learned how the scan tools work. I haven't noticed any rare finds while mining a certain type of mineral. Is this something intentionally left out? Or is it on a to do list somewhere?

Rare finds? What were you expecting, specifically?

Mining lasers totally need wrecking shots, too. Maybe bump up the grade of the ore one step, so normal becomes 5%, etc.

Yes, mining is a passive smoking activity.

the scanner only tells you the amount of ore, there are no gems to speak of. what you see is what you get.

Knowing CCP, they'd do wrecking shots so that the asteroid breaks apart, and you have to click on the little bits until they fly away.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Why do you hate your Rorq pilot?

Your missing the whole other part of hi-sec mining. You start mining, someone warps in and locks you and smart bombs you, then the fun begins. It is great and boosts morale and the economy.

Because I don't have one and, as everyone knows, if one person doesn't use something, that thing is worthless.

Not only gems. Like how quartz can lead to gold. Come to think of it. Is there gold in eve? Or lead? I thought every element in the universe was stated by current scientist as trying to become the most theoretical stable element. Which is/was lead. For every asteroid to always be comprised of only one material is unlikely. Yet much quicker to code in the sandbox. O. I get it now. Just wondering.
