A VERY INTELLIGENT SOLUTION TO ECM PROPOSED BY ME

Instead of making ecm weaker, we clearly need to make it more fun, challenging, and skill intensive (and weaker). With the release of totally (un)cool mini games with Odyssey we should move it to ECM where you have to hack the other ships' sensors in order to jam them. The more jam pointses you have the more clicks you get and the more sensor strengths they have the more clicking you have to do and the harder the puzzle.

They should simply remove it outright, it scales poorly for large scale combat yet has a devastating effect in small gang (and solo) combat.

Honestly its not the mechanics that fail in larger scale its the humans behind it. There simply isnt a FC capable of 2-3 different targets for each individual ecm pilot when there are even only 10+ of them let alone 100 of them

In what way? Are you saying that you would have won had they decloaked a Rapier or a Proteus next to you instead?


Also, ECM is one of the better ways to counter Logi in a small gang context.

I lanyaie approve of this "VERY INTELLIGENT SOLUTION PROPOSED BY THE OP"

The arguments included in his post were short and to the point, the usage of all caps has made sure the op receives all attention as required with such a post in the wrong forum topic.

The OP clearly thought of what would happen while the mini-game was being played by said player and what would happen to the ship that is playing the mini-game.

This idea is also great because you can never be permajammed because a minigame is really hard to beat.

To wrap it all up I think CCP needs to put everyone on the case of developing it and releasing it not later then this month.
