We at BattleClinic and Griefwatch take pride in the work we do. We strive to make our services as user-friendly as possible while keeping our stuff up to date. The BattleClinic killboard UI was completely redone about 6 months ago, making it the premiere free-of-charge killboard. In order to make it the most accurate board possible, we need the whole EVE Online community to enter their new customizable API keys. There's just no reason not to now.

Griefwatch on the other hand has the added capability to completely customize the look and feel of your board, barring you have some prior programming knowledge. Personal boards are free, so you can play around with it before you invest in a corp/alliance board. We have thousands of satisfied customers. Our dev team is here to listen to your ideas and try to implement them into our boards. So if you have an idea, don't keep it to yourself, share it and we'll see what can be done.

So if you're looking for an alternative to eve-kill, BattleClinic is not only a step up, but a step forward.

bc/gw REALLY needs to be streamlined better, they're extremely load heavy and glitch out/take forever to load on all my pc's and connections both at work and at home as well as not being very intuitive to navigate, most people i know say exactlty the same thing and refuse to use them.

When you fix that then you will probably see far more people signing up and using the service.

I usually click somewhere off the main portion of the page so I can get the window active to scroll with the mouse wheel, many time I forget not to click there and it takes me to the gtc site instead of letting me scroll on the page. Maybe just move it somewhere else or make it not the entire left side, but meh.

This, i have noticed with a lot of sites lately and especially battleclinic that sometimes while it is loading heavy content it will move the focus away from the page so you have to click on the page to re-focus the cursor and use the scroll. Having the background as a link makes doing this extremely annoying, it's just one of dozens of annoying niggly things about bc that i and alot of people hate.

From that screen, you can click "Always stay logged in". Presto Manifesto...

Thanks for the link...now put the checkbox for always stay logged in on the upper right hand corner login thingie Big smile

Not sure why people have a hard time loading bc, I've never noticed any performance issues...usually loads fast for me 99% of the time.

We frequently update our forum engine. All pages load quickly for me, the big ones take less than 3 seconds. I am curious, when's the last time you noticed loading problems? If it was recently, then what browser do you generally use? As for navigation, I've been on the site for years so I just know where everything is. Could you explain further what parts in particular you find difficult?

Killnoards are a nonsense anyway, not worth the bandwith it takes up. A casual look at the "top" players will tell you that. Most of them are highsec station huggers that can't/won't/unable to take a risk in case they lose their precious top spot. I saw one of them in Rens fighting of a single ship, This sounds almost interesting until you see he needed 4 guardians giving RR. This is what killmails are now, looking good without actually being good.
