ERAM – The Sebiestor Tribe announced that Karin Midular passed away in the early morning after emergency attempts to remove tumors from her brain had failed.

A council of Sebiestor Tribal elders released a statement declaring a week of mourning for Midular, an often-controversial leader who had seen a resurgence in popularity over the recent years. “Karin Midular was not only the Chief of the Sebiestor Tribe,” the statement read, “but she was also a Ray of Matar for all the Minmatar people. She stood as a bright beacon through dark times and saw us through to where we can become stronger than ever. Her loss is a horrible tragedy to all Minmatar and she will be deeply mourned.”

Rest well, Ray of Matar. You were dear to the people who matter to me, and I mourn with them.

I said that she would die if she returned to the Republic.

I had been performing a reading at my home when during a dizzying lapse of concentration I spilled wax from my candle upon myself. It was then at once and with great heaviness that I inspected my news feed, anticipating bad news.

But this... this is devastating. Truly this is a blow to all Minmatar. It is with unabated tears that I write this message. For her time with us in her physical life to be cut short like this is nothing less than tragic but I have only the deepest thanks from the bottom of my heart that I had lived during the time that she was with us, that I was able to observe such a woman.

She did much to attempt to broker peace between our two empires, it is with a heavy heart that I hear of her death. I stand in sadness with the Matari during this time.

Chief Midular's passing is a great sadness. I will pray to God that she be judged favorably in the hereafter. May she rest in peace.

This was no way to pass to the other side. Spirits guide her to her ancestors.

Her final days were marred with being used by some as little more than a political tool, her time in charge was not without controversy and involved actions that split a people.

But unquestionably she was a woman of peace, and the galaxy is worse without her. Rest well Karin Midular.

My condolences, I had sincerely placed all my bets on her survival. Alas, it may not be the death itself, but the consequences of her death, which will have greater implications for everyone else. I feel it is that particular detail which makes this a troublesome development.

My sincere condolences.

I hope that distrust, blood and more death will not be following the wake of her death. It would go against anything she lived - and possibly died - for.
