Crash after Retribution 1.2 Patch - Object Viewer

I logged in and decided I'd check out the new drone graphics that were advertised in today's patch notes, and found that as soon as I open up an object viewer window (Full, 3D spinnable model viewer), the game crashes. I've tested other objects as well, and it's not limited to objects that got polished today. Ships and modules I had been looking at even yesterday also cause the crash.

The thumbnails shown in the market window and even the item description windows are fine, and I can even see some of the new details on there (though they're quite small). I even tried cranking all my graphics settings to their minimums, just in case. No luck, it still crashes on ANY attempt to use the model viewer.

I'm running Fedora 17, kernel 3.8.11, with Wine 1.5.24. Nvidia proprietary driver 304.88 through RPMFusion. Has anyone else tried to use the object viewer today?

Ick. Unfortunate update: It crashes if I open the fitting window, too. This has gone from annoying to game-breaking.

Had now issues at all with the new patch.

Did you try the classic steps like clearing the cache of you install? Maybe its that simple.

I used the object viewer with the new V3 models (drones and s/caps), then fitted the usual wagonload of ships, then indulged into looking at the new free shirt and the quafe fanfest shirt.

No problems here, 1.5.29, Kubuntu 12.04 LTS, nvidia 310.something (not at home, can't check).

Well, damn. Sounds like it's just me, then. I'll try clearing the cache and all that fun happy stuff, but if that fails... Well, I haven't booted up my Gentoo partition in a while. Might be time.

You could also try the "repair.exe" from the EVE installation directory. It will validate the install an re-download single files that may be broken. If even that doesn't work, well scrap the wine prefix and start new with a fresh one.
