My only concern is that the Caldari ship will struggle as Torps suck against anything smaller than a BC unless they give it a TP bonus. Would love me a revisioned Calvary Raven though. Quick and with Torps; may the revival of the Calvary begin.

One thing that has got me.

The person who's ship design this is didn't win anything in the contest.

I hope out of morality CCP has re-embursed this person, somehow.

Ohhh, can you imagine a BC or BS based roughly on that hull...

Anyway, the Caldari HAVE entered into the elite realm of the Catamaran hull ships which was formerly restricted to Gallante and in a small way Amarr.

This is my favorite of the BC designs... pretty sweet... looks like the Oracle has ample thrust! (I think there's still room on the aft observation deck for another thruster Blink )

Is no-one else with me on the 'unbalanced thrusters make ships look stupid' issue? Thrusters need to act on the bulk of the ship, it's not hard to design these things so they at least look like they'd fly in a straight line rather than spinning in circles Cry

Imagine a Stealth bomber with the speed of a nano BC and 1.5x the dps. Oh, and with a tank that can actually widstand 5 warrior IIs for longer than 30 seconds without dipping into armor.

That is a VERY nice ship. Im definitely training BC V, just about to finish Logi V, so thats next on my list (or should i go recon/HAC 5). The indecision. ARGHH

I'm not with you. There's so many things in ship design that is not logical for a variety of reasons. It's better the ship look sexy as hell. And then again, we have alot of people whining about non-symmetrical ships too. I love non-symmetrical ships. It's like they usually say about fantasy MMO's and men playing female characters: "If I'm going to spend alot of time watching this character, it might as well have a good looking ass".

AFK-cloaking in a system near you.
