Tracking a players online / offline status?

Greetings C&P Readers,

I am attempting to drill down the timezone / hours of play of a pilot I am hunting so that I can match my online time to theirs more effectively. I can stay online and observe them when our hours of play overlap, but when I am afk or offline I cannot track their online / offline status. I can work around this, but I just want to make sure I'm not overlooking some obvious tool / solution to this.

Is there a 3rd party tool / website / chat log / in game means of recording a players online / offline status changes?

Thanks you for any help.

Nope. Even if you had their API key it does not provide this information (intentionally), only last known system, delayed. Worries about stalker lawsuits, etc.

Best you can do is stare at your watch list 23/7. You can also look up killboards to get an idea of activity level, assuming that they engage in spaceship violence. Or get a spy into their corp, the chat logs might (don't know) show join/leave events.

Find a free program that can take screenshots based on a timer. Put your target(s) under a watchlist all togheter so the little online/offline circle goes red/green, add a onscreen clock so you can see the time stamp.

You only really need a screenshot every 15 minutes, and apparently some programs can screenshot only a section of screen, so you end up with a folder with - say for a 24 period - of around 24 megabytes in images if the images are 150k each.

I apparently have no idea what I'm doing.
