Well, I joined this band of misfits after messing around with some folks to learn PVP.

These guys are awesome. In corp less than a day, killed a pod and managed to whore onto two other kills too. And I've learned a bit of stuff too.


There's a good mix of people who know stuff to offer good advice and we're running fleets and kicking ass.


Feels good. :) Long may it continue.

I've played EVE for 10 years (on and off). Recently got the itch to come back but feared Id end up skill changing and station spinning with no sense of direction.

Saw this advert and thought it would be a good way to get back up to speed with things and try something a little different to what I've done in the past.

So far I'm loving every minute. Having lots of fun with like minded people.

The only down side is we have been so successful in our current war that the WT's are staying logged off

Not knowing Kane or StoneCold I was suspicious at first having to pay. But both seem really dedicated to the bootcamp.

Having a blast at the boot camp. Haven't whored on any kill mails yet, but hopefully will soon. Everyone is very helpful with fittings, and advice.

I am in the US Eastern TZ and I haven't had a single day go by where there was not people to play with and things to shoot.

Everyone is learning pretty quick, and I do not feel that flying a frigate is holding me back.

Would recommend to anyone.

i'll be up for this.

I'm an indy guy myself and earnt my isk through roids, minerals and labs :D

However i recently purchased this toon as wanted to do some pvp, with a few isk to spare on ships this seems like a good place to start for me.

Hopefully i will see you guys in game. :D

I always thought losing is the very part of the learning experince - but the booties are a blast!

Bootcamp started on 01.05.. They got now 44 kills (adding up to 3.16B in damage) and only lost 16 ships (240m!).

I´m proud to know these guys (and ladies).

For me? That was never the plan realy.

It´s to find use new 'personal' for the Somali Coast Guard Authority.

Saying this remind me of talking to the russians how they feel about a surrender offer ;-) (which will ofc be payed into the bootcamp wallet).

Keep in mind: we started to fly together on 01.05.13 and most of the booties have low (or even no) combat experience!

This isn't accurate: *we* actually jumped into *their* gatecamp after we became bored with them not engaging. Kudos to the SOERI SKYTEAM guys anyway for forming up and fighting. I'm sure they had more fun playing Eve than the people who drop corp or stay docked up. Mistakes were made, lessons were learned and they'll come into the next fight better prepared.

I'll upload the real video to the Bootcamp forum together with some analysis how we can improve further.

I would like to add my respect for our wartargets. Bringing a fight takes guts. Well done to SOE-S.
