After yesterday's record reached, the hamsters went on strike today.

Or maybe its Retribution 1.2 being released :3

Yes, someone idiot at CCP thought it a great idea to rush-release a completely unannounced, almost entirely cosmetic and therefore not-in-the-least urgent patch not only during a holiday weekend, but duringthe anniversary fun that lots of people were having.

It really is as if for every day they manage to actually be good, CCP have to go completely full potato to restore balance to the world.

Going to be interesting to hear why this was deployed with no warning, completely outside the normal schedule for patching.

So they decide to inform us of an earlier DT today at 23.52 the night previously? Absolute joke.

I'm still looking for an answer about the courier contracts that are under 2-3 hour to complete and the hauler failed to read about the extended DT. My greedy wallet want me to shut the frak up, but right now I'm more interested to get my stuff delivered.

No thats the biggest joke. Announcing it at a time when CCP know full well that a lot of the userbase will only see it after the DT has started, CCP customer relations still sux big time.

Wow, so you must actually think it's a good idea then, rather than talking about the anniversary/blowing up shiny new ships, people are instead going to be talking about this patchday. I'm sure that's the message and content CCP really wanted to get out, "Hey look world, we interrupt our own party to push out largely insignificant content, isn't that awesome???"

Maybe those poor servers just need a break after yesterday? You can live without Eve for a little bit, after 10 years its proven that its not going anywhere.

no, actually making a thread asking why the servers are down when it clearly states why on the log in screen is the joke.

surely it's less effort to read the box above the login box rather than close the game, open your web browser, navigate to the forums, and make a thread asking about something you'd have already known about if you'd looked an inch above the login box?

no? well, **** me.

Patching on the day after the anniversary when people have had their fill of blowing up ships, and on a day when there's little server traffic anyway seems like a pretty good idea, yes.

Someone else who is missing the point. Its not about the DT, its about why it was announced at such a stupid time for a considerable amount of the playerbase who wouldnt know about it until AFTER the DT had started.

CCP need to comment as to why a supposedly scheduled patch, was not announced with adequate notification. That is the point of this thread imo.

You seem mad, the patch is a success already.
