I hate to be that guy but...Its not Jovian.

if it was a Jovian BC it would be instapopping supercaps.

Its a SoCT ship.

'The SoCT's Gnosis-class cruiser is typically used as an exploration, research or training vessel and is well equipped for such activities. It is even better prepared, however, to guard such tasks from interruption and sabotage.'

That's what it says on the ships description

Some claim SOCT is a Jovian corp, which is flat out wrong, as it's a unique faction (I know, because it's the faction I have the best (+7) standings with and the factions only member corp is The Society of Conscious thought.

As opposed to that, my best character standings accross all my accounts towards Jove is 3.3.

In case anyone bothers reading up the lore, Jove and SOCT have rather little to do with each other except SOCT having been founded by a Jovian.

[edit]: Oh - and on a side note, I've never seen CCP - who are famous for getting things wrong - get so many things wrong concerning the gnosis on so many levels concerning their own lore.

The ships description was changed from the last Sisi build, but still claims it to be a Battlecruiser and a Cruiser in the same description text:

its a research vessel, as in Jovian none combat ship, so its basically a civilian ship.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

You'd better be - remember when they first V3'd Amarr and Minmatar and consistently got all the brands wrong, like putting Sarum Sigils on all Carthum ships?

Apparently, no designer is even asked to read a ships description before getting wild on it...

(Well - you could assume they'd at least read a ships description before designing it,but apparently, that's too much to ask...).

Except for the fact that the Jovian Directorate currently owns 60% of the shares of SOCT, giving them a controlling stake in the corp.

It's all just confused. See my 5th anniverssary Apotheosis shuttle looks similar to the BC and it also says JOVE but it also says ''Society of Conscious Thought''. Roll
