I just learned of this program "Eve-Market Bot"

First of all this is totally redonk.... I assume this is why I never get anything off buy orders anymore because I am constantly .01isked


I'm super e-mad, all I want to do is trade and I can't even do it because of stupid botters.

Pretty sure that the vast majority of people outbidding you aren't bots. I'll try and dig up some of the security devblogs that talk about it.

By systematically organising one's routine of checking and adjusting prices.

Also it isn't 1vs1, it's Everybody Vs Everybody.
When someone logs off to have his sorry excuse of a live there are still 10 other players updating their prices.

Jita is cluttered with 0.1 isk punks and bots. In other hubs like rens they can be fought off by undercutting by 10% of profit each time and theyll soon quit leaving the market for you.

Confirming I only trade in Jita, so you are safe out in Rens.

Although, please cut by 50% or more, then I can haz (almost) free stocks

10 buy orders for the same item, then places 10 sell orders for the same item, then proceeds to updating any of the 10 orders as soon as its beaten by another and let me guess you got caught in the middle of 2 people doing exactly that.

There is no substance to this thread and let me point out being outbid every minute is absolutely zero proof of market bots.

also, just a little side note, "If you can google it, CCP can to" and these guys are programers for a living, Mmmkay?

This has been discussed many many times. Here it goes again..

Most people who outbid your orders by .01 are most likely either botting or using a 3rd party software to help with their orders. People will not accept this However and keep claiming that they are sitting there all day and .01 ISK every order.

In reality no good/real trader would waste time with .01 since mousewheeling is much much easier and does the same job. Outbidding another order by .01 is harder/takes longer than mousewheeling especially when you are managing 100s of orders.

mousewheeling is how you do 0.01ing ^^

I dont know how other people do it....although, 0.02ing is better,cos it allows for someone else to come in while you are doing it

I guess I wasn't clear. If you are .01 in with mousewheel, you do not try to stop at exactly .01 since its harder to stop it exactly there. Roll the mouse at let it stop at "random" number. That's what i meant when said "outbiding an order with .01 is harder".
