Item based bounties?

So question.. Is there any interest in a site to allow people to post their own bounties in? A site that will let you also search any player in eve and see if someone has posted a private bounty on them for Good and Isk?

I am trying to weigh demand for this or even if this would be used by players. I am working on a site to allow this but before I post it live I need to know if its a waste of time. Amazon EC2 hosting prices isn't free after all.

Let me know your ideas, whether you'd use it. etc

In what way is this better than just searching their name in-game and checking their bounty?

The only improvement over that I can think of would be if the person placing the bounty could somehow log the reason that the bounty was placed, so a would-be bounty hunter could search for targets who have committed specific offenses. Even so, I don't see enough people using this to really make it worthwhile.

Well you can't make much money with the current system. So I guess it would fall back to the old one and add items as well as isk to the prize.
