I'm getting this error when launching eve:

Traceback (most recent call last):


It keeps telling me to restart or run repair tool. I have run the tool 3 times with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. Game was working fine, I logged out and tried to start the game. Get the Eve Online Launcher Exception window that says to run the repair tool. I run the repair tool and it says it fixes the client.

But I still get the message to run the repair tool and Eve will not start.

I'm having trouble getting my client to run too. Tried the repair tool, uninstalling/re-installing 5 times, using the generic patch updater, using system restore to when the game was working, tried a registry repair tool, praying to God, and I'm about ready to give a human sacrifice. Nothing seems to work. I have seen some others that run Windows 7 x64 have this problem....oh wait that's what I use for my OS too.

Also having this problem. Also running windows 7 x64. I had absolutely no trouble running three instances of the game 12 hours ago and now I can't get passed the character select screen without a sudden crash for no reason. Safe mode, turning the graphics all the way down, nothing works.

Occasionally I get halfway loaded into the station before it crashes.

So I installed a new 4TB hard drive and removed my 500GB hard drive then put Eve on the 4TB, this is when the problems started. So I tried everything like in my previous post.
Now I have Eve on my C: Drive, which is an SSD. I've been trying to run the game and had no luck still.

Here's the weird part: just to see if I still had files on the old 500GB (which I didn't) I tried to run Eve....IT WORKED!! However, the game was still launching from my SSD!!
I have no idea of why this works, but I guess I'm keeping this hard drive in my computer.

Okay I seem able to get the game to load with the ExeFile.exe shortcut in the bin folder.

I am on Vista 64. Don't mock me.
