Congratulations on all those who make it through to the CSM 8 council.

For all those who did not make it, I hope to see you all and more next year.

I look forward to a year of a CSM that is more communicative with the player base, more transparent in its actions, and more of the voice of the players and less like a CCP employee group.

Thank you all for your hard work. I hope you enjoy your experience working with CCP for the players.

Very excited with this years line up too.

It is interesting that there was a 10k difference from last year, can't wait to see all the stats.

I do wonder (idly of course) whether FD's "activities" hurt or help turnout. My instinct would be hurt, since he turns a lot of people off about the process in general and contributes to the "CSM isnt serious so im not going to care" narratives.

Though im sure he'd disagree.

As a member of CSM7, it is ironic that you would comment about other people, turning people off voting for the CSM.

Aleks, just speaking for myself, it was the STV and not Frying Doom that lowered my interest in this year's election. People like Frying Doom chased me out of this section of the forums years ago. I just stopped in for a visit because I followed a link in Mike's latest blog post. I'll make sure I'm very careful of the links I click on now that Mike's a CSM!
