This is kind of insulting for Marlona Sky, at the Mittani.com, after some weeks of preparation for 1000 rifter's in low sec challenge. CCP have effectively Nerfed this by adding (at the last minute) an alliance pod fest in Low sec. I wonder where they will be picking targets? likely the same system as Marlona Sky's well planned and arranged competition, as most other low sec areas will be empty. PPL that create game content & events should not have CCP ride rough shod over their planning. Especially when CCP only pull their finger out for events when pushing another product on the back of Eve.

I recently I lost a number of friends from Eve that had been playing for some years (4+ most of them). With CCP's lack of insight in their excited behaviour of slinging together an event at a major anniversary, I can understand why.

As per my previous posts, CCP is showing less regard for players & more for new products & Sony b*tt licking. The temptation of joining my lost Eve friends in their new homes gets more tempting all the time.

BTW: This is my Main Char not an alt, so come gank me or bounty me :P

To add:
I know CCP is a business, but as a drug dealer ;) They should be improving the Eve drug to keep us habitual users happy and addicted. Watering down the drug constantly will just lose users. Dust514 I can agree with to a point, but it smacks of the intention of building a product portfolio for a buy out by Sony. Like a number of friends in the past where a business has been formed with the sole intention of retiring on the sale/merger value. Business sucks for (addicted) users.

Jesus guys!!! Give them a break. The principle of the idea is sound yes some people may try and abuse the system to get the win, but who cares that's what this game is all about, finding loop holes etc to get max advantage.

The prize is fantastic unique idea, and one people will go for. It shouldn't however change things for the events already planned, other than creating more cooperation between alliances.

Regarding the comment about brave newbies I would say that any Corp that features over 500 members should be counted, and as most alliances without ingame logos no doubt have private ones on their forums and killboards it shouldn't be a problem.

Tl;dr. Cheer the hell up your grumpy bastards, its a party!

there was talk of dev caravans and roaming devs, these could appear in highsec so there is something for you, or you know grab a clean clone, a cruiser and explore!!!

Eterne isn't a player, he's a CCP employee. No, this isn't something anyone can request. The criteria for who gets to offer this prize is: be CCP.

No, when he logs on to the server, or the forum, and he's not doing it to fix a bug or deal with an issue, he's a player, and more importantly, he is an event organiser.

Lastly, would you care to state for the record, publicly, in your own words, that this is preferential treatment of event organisers? I'm not against it, I'm just interested in having an open, honest line of communication between us.
