New Caldari – State Executor Tibus Heth today announced his desire to “nationalize the megacorps” and place them all under the direct control of the Caldari State. At the same time, reports have been released that Kaalakiota Corporation, of which Tibus Heth is the CEO, has been funneling money to support the Caldari Providence Directorate, placing it in financial difficulties.

In Heth's announcement, he declared, “The time for corporate back-biting and rivalry has come and passed. Caldari unity is important. The providence of the working class is important. Individual corporations fighting over every last coin has brought this great State to near-ruin once before. The workers revolted and brought me to power, but I foolishly thought the corporations had learned their lessons and could change. I have now found they cannot. They were merely wounded dogs, laying low and licking their wounds until they found a time to bite once again. And bite they have, many times over the past few months.

“This biting has led to the loss of our homeworld once again. It has led to the Caldari people being fractured and at each other’s throats. I cannot stand for it. That is why I shall begin the process of bringing all seven megacorporations under State ownership. They will provide for the people and not for their decadent CEOs. It was a move I should have made long ago, but one that hopefully is not yet too late to make.”

I'm pretty sure to make something like this happen, you have to have political capital to spend. Heth has been running dry on that over the last few months.

And being in debt on political capital is a very dangerous place to be.

Madness, but predictable madness. And so the lines are drawn.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Heth or more precisely Kaalakiota is low on cash, aren't the megas about earning cash and that would mean he is bad CEO and no funds means no pays for the workers.

Heth has pretty much declared war on the mega's. If he truly thinks they will just sit down and allow this to take place you can be assured that you will find more sanity in the Sani Sabik.

When the war begins, when the Caldari people finally say 'enough' I shall stand next to our Caldari brothers and help pour the tea.

So when is he going to shoot his load?

There's too much beating around the bush with pointless maneuvers and not enough dealing with people that actually matter.
Gloating the megas was fun to watch for a while, but then it got boring fast. Heth, if you can see this, bring your allies in and get on with it. There is no secret, but the big red button doesn't press itself.

Such grandiose delusions from such an incompetent failure of a leader who has managed to run Kaalakiota into the rocks of financial ruin and willingly discards the future prosperity of billions in order to satisfy his own personal Messianic vision of himself. A leader who cannot accept responsibility for their failures, their breaches of duty, their lack of adherence to the greater good of society is worthy only of the greatest recriminations that can be brought against them and in this it is clear that the Executor now seeks to run and hide from his failures and believes, erroneously, that rhetoric, force or violence will be enough to spare him from accountability.

The Executor has shown himself as nothing more than a farcical and small man who achieved his position not through merit, nor even through the common workers as he often claims but because he scored it lucky with Kaalakiota shares, and he only managed to reach his current level authority due to being a Chief Executive in the very corporate system which he now is so opposed to. Now that his failures and irresponsibility as a leader are clearly evident, he thinks so lowly of his fellow citizens are fools just as he is and cannot see his desperation and weakness in trying to shift blame and responsibility from himself onto others.

But we are Caldari. We are the State.

Not even the Executor is beyond accountability for it is he who is a servant of the people and his fellow citizens, not the citizen who are to be bound to his personal desires. Fortunate it seems that the Executor has recognized the need for unity in these days, if ironic that it is the very debts that he has incurred in recent months financially, militarily, politically and socially that will deliver such unity as the people of the State collect upon them.

At this point it is perhaps appropriate to note that TTC re-incorporated under SCC charter early last week, and has moved its administrative headquarters to CONCORD jurisdiction.

Speaking personally, I fear I must suspend my support for the Provist cause, at least until the end of its current crisis of direction. It is my sincere hope the blatant subjugation of its charter to the whims of a tyrant, this waste and misuse of the efforts of loyal, sincere and hard-working citizens will end, and that the transition will be swift and relatively bloodless.

Isn't Heth appointed by the CEP? Or has he gone out of their control to make such bold moves ?
