I don't know what it is about scammers these days but there doesn't even seem to be a token effort put into it anymore.

You either have the same old scams you always did like the buying an item for 100k when you say you are buying it for 100mil (suprized that even works with the newer contract wording but people are silly) or uninspired isk doublers who won't even put in a token effort of confidence building to try and draw people into sending them large hunks of isk.

Not that isk doubling was a creative effort, but at least you used to see people doubling small amounts to get people to send in the large bundles of isk instead of the small testing amounts. Now it seems like isk doubles are content to take small amounts and never shoot for the big prizes.

That being said I really must think up a good scam to run since the pool seems kind of bland.

Scamming doesn't need effort because people are dumb.

The one time I tried a scam, years ago, I created a contract for 1 mill Omber that only had 100,000 in it. I put the contract into Jita local and not ten seconds later some guy whose name escapes me goes: "HAHA IFLY THINKS WE CANT COUNT!"

Half an hour later he accepted it. vOv
