As it applies to ore amd mineral values. Some hisec miners will not go to nullsec.

Nullsec is getting a buff, but might it not be offset by increased losses? I'm no expert on nullsec, but if CCP seeds the moons right couldn't that cause some major violence Big smile

Too many factors at play to really predict outcomes.

I am confident in saying that it should encourage violence compared to the old system.

If low-sec / null sec corps start recruiting the high-sec bears into their homes for mining ops, then there will be more low-sec/null-sec mining, and prices will go down drastically.

If not, than high-sec prices will go down, but not as drastically.

Of course, it applies to trit and pyr mostly. Other minerals will still be in demand.

In general I don't think it will increase the attacks in low/null space. What might encourage it is the changes to moon goos. If that really increase wars around the systems, than prices will go up as manufacturing will also go up.

well somethings major gotta change for a lot of nullsec entities to even consider enlisting true miners and carebears.

in fact as long as being called a miner or carebear is an insult in eve - nullsec, then it wont change at all.

also the industrial capacity was always there. it was never great but it was there, yet nobody ever used ot for not being time / isk efficient. what will change now ?

can nullsec miners and diehard industrialists fill ther assembly lines 24/7 with mats mined in null ?? who is kidding whom ?

no way this will change the current situation by a whole lot.

Well at least one of them is having discussions along the lines of "How do we get more industrialists/miners"

Or if people do what people do, it will at the very least encourage mass evac for a time. The spread sheet power houses will not need long to figure out where the new Junk Space is and while that will mean a reshape of DotLan I doubt we will see any new and epic wars. Still, gratz to the new instant multi billionaire Exec's that come out of the reshaping?

When their ISK/hour is reduced to an even s***ier rate, they may just finally call it quits with EVE.

If null and lowsec becomes more populated with bait will it not create a feeding frenzy amongst the bigger fish.

Possibly even shutting out hisec industrialists.

For some, any risk is too much risk.

Can't tell if you are trolling..... but uh.. good we need some miners to leave the game.... I think there is to many of them as it stands and half of them are just alts that are trying to make isk while they pvp

Way, way back in the day, trit was maybe 2-3 isk/unit.

Miners still mined.

Close thread.

Not agreeing with the op.

Back in the day trit was 2-3/u, way back in the day it was 1 on the high end. However when it was that cheap the player base had far less isk and sp, the opportunities to create wealth for your avg player simply wasn't there. 2isk/u may not be much but when buying a bs is a milestone, or even more so affording cartel controlled mining ships the inclination to do lower isk making ventures compared to isk/hr today was much higher.
