So my account is going to expire and I'm curious if I let it do so will my pos remain in space active/inactive?
also If I abandon a ship in the middle of space and leave it there will it stop existing in space if my account expires?Question

If it's anchored, it'll stay, if it's not anchored, it'll float away.

Note that some items only stay anchored for a few weeks before running out of power (for instance containers), whereas other things remain anchored until someone unanchors them (basically everything else that's anchorable).

I know ships can be left in space and not disappear for weeks at a time, just don't know what would happen if my account expired with it in space.

is the ship empty, or are you in it?.. if it is inside your pos bubble and you go inactive and not fuel the pos someone will just come take the empty ship after the tower offlines and the bubble is no longer protecting it., if you are in the ship and in space when you go inactive you will just log off and your ship will e-warp and then disappear, when you come back you will still be in that ship.
