I am officially Done with exploration and combat sites.

Time and again, I spend ages clearing a site only for some [expletive deleted] to show up in a goddamn T3 cruiser, steal the faction spawn and zip off. I can't tank an entire goddamn site in a battlecruiser or whatever piece of crap ship I manage to cobble together with the pathetic cashflow I have from radar sites and missions.

So in a nutshell, how the hell do I manage to compete with some [expletive deleted] in an [adjective deleted] T3 cruiser?

Ok, I think I'm done ranting. Some objective input would be greatly valued as well as the usual "biomass character, gief stuff, delete EVE," etc.

2010 character that can't fly a tengu herself? Sounds like a troll.

You need to put more effort into not being bad.

try moving to a less populated area, preferably in low/null. You'll find a lot less people are willing to ninjaloot you when there is a risk to losing their ship.

You're a pretty old character, if you don't know what to do at all in that situations and want to quit because of it, EvE is not for you, please go ahead.

For some reason I'm in a more constructive mood today. So here goes.

Option 1) Just get the hell out of Caldari space. No one is going to steal Blood Raider sites from you, for instance. Yes, I know Guristas have the best drops. Everyone knows that. So there's too much competition.

Option 2) Try low sec. It's not nearly as frightening as it sounds. Higher risk, yes, but you can make a ton of cash that way.

Option 3) Fit a point and fit to counter a Tengu. I'd probably suggest using a Loki for this but it's not the only option. Fun fact: exploration Tengus often drop better loot than overseers.

In all honesty, people compete with the flocks of Tengus in high sec every day. When a GSO gets competed, Tengus usually win. But they don't always get there and the sites respawn more or less instantly; it's just a matter of finding another one.

And as for lousy money from missions: well. Sorry, but that's simply not true. You should easily be able to fund your own Tengu based on mission income if you care to do so.

I used to have no problems scanning down and blitzing 4/10 DED in an all-in-one passive Drake = ordinary BC. On top of that you've got drones to clear those annoying frigates faster than the Tengu. Please, try to get better instead of insulting other people.

What about L4 missions and income..., I am curious how you could call that pathetic, to properly fly an ordinary Raven is two months of skilling or so.
